Jolly holidays! (It’s a Cliff Richard thing)
I’m going over with a view to buying a house! Well a ruin actually, to ‘do up’! You/I can buy a farmhouse with outbuildings and an acre or two. For under $60.000.00. That’s sixty thousand USA dollars! Or thirty thousand English pounds!
And all that I hold dear (beer – cigarettes – petrol/gas) is at least half UK price!
Sooooooo im gonna be gone for a couple of weeks, (hic) so be good, and wish me luck you rascals!
