The cardinals and finches are at the bird feeder, rumor has it the tulips are starting to peek up. But the sure sign, the smell of skunk, has yet to appear in my neck of the woods.
Anyone else?

Yesterday was just about as perfect a day as you can get.
The birds were flying around. The beeze was gentle and it was in the 70's.
I spent a lot of the day outside, in spite of the pollen and my asthma. It was worth the price I am paying today! I loved it!
It's hard to beat central florida in the spring, fall and winter. Believe or not, I even like summer, but have to stay in during the hottest part of the day.
Doesn't it feel soooooooooooooooooo good?

Longer days. I finished shopping at 6.30pm and it was still light. It just reminds me that spring and then summer is on its way. I'm sooooo looking forward to BST

I saw the first robins last weekend, and one greeted me out back this morning.
The crocuses and other early-blooming bulbs are starting to show wee green tips in the flower beds.
Most of the tree squirrels have had their babies...!

We have skunks in Northern Michigan, still snowing. I saw my first robin in Houghton Lake last Saturday, a sure sign spring will be here soon.

So I'm not the only one who associates skunk smell with spring/summer? Or maybe I am and you are all being polite.
The squirrels are flocking in my yard, Sci...to think they have babies out there, how cool.
Saw a couple male cardinals arguing over a tree the other day. The Robins showed up last week, I'll send a couple your way spongey.

Spring in Phoenix...heavenly scent...orange blossoms and wisteria. I wore a jacket to work this morning but I'm wearing shorts, sandals and a tank top right now. There are birds everywhere, and I'm sure the cactus wrens will be building their nests soon, so my pets (and we humans too) will need to be wary. Deciduous trees are few, but they're in bud. Traffic builds as the snowbirds return...every rose has its thorns. We still have plenty of firewood, the lack of rain caused pollution so bad we weren't allowed to use our fireplaces. Oh, and the wildflowers are blooming, even with as little rain as we've had.

I thought I was late for work this morning because it was so light out at 7:00. We've had robins for the past week, the tulips and crocus have sprouted..and the sure sign of sping in Indiana is snow for the state basketball finals which are this weekend, and snow is predicted.

We had a crazy snowfall early in the week....school was even cancelled.
It's melted now and the dog is tracking in mud all over my clean kitchen floor.....sure sign of spring!
I've already been awakened to the birds chirping, I love the sound of that!
My daughters and I have already gotten out the shorts and flip flops...can't wait to free the feet!
