This is a take on the What Do You Drive thread. I hope it hasn't been done already. Of all the cars you've ever owned, which one would you want back if given the opportunity? I've only owned old Mopars through the years, from a straight axle Dart to a maxwedge, but the car I miss the most is a '67 Coronet 500 convertible that I owned in the 70's. If I could only go back in time...........

I don't miss any car I ever had, because they were such junkers. I could never really afford a good car, so I kept fixing my 72 chrysler station wagon. 2 Engines, 6 trannys, 5 steering boxes, etc. All that work got me a mechanics job, and through college. I do miss that car somewhat and the love-hate relationship I had with it.
But, I'll ever be beholding to my grandfather's 55 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe, which my father sold for $500 when my grandfather died.
I finally saw it many many years later on the beach in NJ sitting in the back yard of the guy my father sold it to, rusted away. What a shame.

1962 Corvair Convertible. I had it in high school and had more fun in it than any other car I've ever owned. Paid $400.00 for it and it was money well spent. I got $450.00 for it when I sold it and about $100,000.00 worth of fun out of it. Picked the entire cheerleading team up in it one day and it had a trunk that made an excellent beer cooler. Just throw in a few cases and a few bags of ice and it was party time. When the party was over, it had rubber plugs in the bottom of the trunk I could pull out to drain the water and ice out as I drove down the road.

Mopar! That got my attention!
I had a nice '72 340 Challenger that I started to strip, lighten and modify until it wasn't street legal anymore. I finally, literally wore it out after about 12 hard years. Won lots of races. Took all the remaining good parts off of it and hauled it to a scrap yard. I think I cried!
I wish I knew better than to have made a race car out of it and wish I had it back.

Before I had a drivers license I bought a 1970 Chevy Nova with hardly any miles on it from one of my brothers.
One morning after loaning it to another brother for his hot date the night before my dad gave me the keys to my brothers 1966 Dodge Coronet. He is the one that borrowed my Nova and put it into a lake after driving drunk.
I didnt like that trade but I didnt want a flooded out car either.
i'd likme that Nova back!

I just tried to post on here and it disappeared, how crazy is that???? But, I once had a dodge dart way back and it rusted out so it was out and gone. But as I earlier said on here I had a "69" roadrunner I would love back and also once upon a time in the 70's, had an old ford galaxie 500 which I miss as well......those were the days and the good times and those were the days my friends...wished they never end.......miss them too.

The maroon ‘67 Corvette (it was a convertible); my Dad’s candy apple red Mustang convertible (a 1965 I think); and my most favourite truck, a ¾ ton turbo diesel, 4-wheel drive, extended cab, long bed Chevy pick-up truck…it was blue and it ruled!!! Pulled my horse trailer like a dream and still got 25 miles/gal.
