I met my old highschool sweetheart through another website and introduced her to MD and now we chat quite often on here. Of course we've both changed alot but it's been like re-uniting with an old best friend. Anyone else have contact with your old high school sweethearts and if so how's it going?

Nah, I've moved house (and sometimes country) about 15 times since high school.. lost contact with everyone about 20 years ago!

Yes I keep in contact with my old high school sweetheart...I ran into him on a high school forum and have chatted now for 3 years. Hes married and have even chatted with her.

I never had any friends in High school, I was thin small and sickly, I have a last name that everyone picked on me about... I was abused by my classmates, beaten several times a week... I was hospitalized several times a year, (broken bones, etc...)
Sweethearts? no, I was the kid stuffed into lockers, lunch money taken by bullies...
I have never gone to a high school reunion, and never will....

but these days at 6' 5", and 350... I tend to intimidate, and even scare folks... but because of how I was treated by those in my past, it makes me that much more sensitive of how I treat people....
and because of my resentments, and stature, I wouldn't go to a reunion not because it would cause me pain... but because someone might set me off, and I have no wish to hurt anyone.....

I left, and was disvirgined in high school like a decade ago by one sweetheart whom I'm still in close touch with till today. shes one of my best buddies...we're like 2 peas in a pod.
I remember her sleeping over at our place after the prom. we were on this.....................oh s***, am I suppose to be doing this here? oops this is not the sex forum .. so so sorry folks if I shared too much or went overboard

On a friendship level, yes, I do still keep in touch. Always have. He and my husband as a result also know each other now. ... Speaking of keeping in touch, I'm attending his wedding next month.

 I dated this girl in high school that I absolutely flipped over! She broke it off after two or three months, but the WAY in which she did so was just so kind, so tactful - you could just tell she was doing everything possible NOT to hurt my feelings. And the way she handled herself that night just caused my respect for her to increase dramatically. She had the purest, most beautiful spirit of anyone I'd ever known. The last time I saw her, I was all of 18 years old. I didn't do a lot of dating in school, so I just chalked everything up to a routine teenage crush...and life goes on.
Fast forward 30 years. I decided at the last minute to attend our 30 year reunion. So did she. Ran into her just before the night was over, and spent a few minutes chatting. Nothing big. Just nice to see a familiar face after all those years and find out how the world was treating her. We left the reunion, went our separate ways, and that was that. A pleasant evening, but certainly no big deal.
She lives out of town. She called a month later, said she was in visiting her mother and asked if she could drop by just to talk for a bit and catch up, since we only had about 20 minutes at the reunion before everyone left. Sure, why not. She planned on stopping by and talking for an hour or two...we talked for closer to eight! Turns out, she's STILL that same beautiful spirit, and before she left, we were both hit with that proverbial ton of bricks!
So no, I hadn't kept in touch - until a few years ago....I'm SO GLAD I decided at the last minute to go to that reunion...the first I'd ever gone to! I definitely keep in touch now!!!!!

Wow! Glad that worked out for ya Jester.I had a highschool sweetheart when I was a Senior and she was a Junior.It lasted four years and we planned on marrying after she graduated college but she met a college boy,married him instead.I havent seen her for 28 years and I know she is still happily married to that same guy and has a fine family but it would be nice to just sit and reminice with her for a couple hours.

My girlfriend from 8th grade that I hadn't heard from in 33 years called me on Superbowl Sunday. We've been keeping in touch and communicating ever since. It's a very cool thing.
As far as the high school I graduated from, I could not care less if I saw any of those stuck up sanctimonious bastards again as long as I live.

I talk to Karen about once a year or so. I am really fond of her. She just go remarriied last year. My wife is pretty tolerant of my keeping in touch with her (actually my wife is pretty tolerant in general, LOL)
Anyhow I still have a warm feeling for her.

I married a woman I went to school with. She was a cheerleader who wouldn't cross the hallway to spit on me if I were on fire.
Years later I married her and found out that I didn't even need to be on fire for her to spit on me.

Went to an all girls school...no high school sweethearts for me!! I just did a web search for the guy I dated then though, and found him in Tallahassee (I knew he lived in FL now). No, I'm not gonna call.
