Back when i had my 1980 shovel head 1200 Harley, i wore a leather jacket, and leather covers on my legs (which are tie on frontal leather strips for the thigh to the knee, to keep from getting cold riding a bike in winter months. But other than that, i only wear cotton, because my skin can't breath wearing leather...Earl

I LOVE leather pants (own 5 or 6 different color pairs)...but of course my favorites are the BLACK leather jeans. And yes, they CAN be worn by "ladies" like me. 
And "f. all of the above, and staight men too, why not?"...especially if they fit right in the a$$

but sunny, you have to remember that NOT everyone has a body like yours...lol
i think leather pants need to be worn on people with bodies made for them...

If i lived up north i would wear maybe leather black pants and jacket, but here in Houston Texas, with the humidity, it's horrible to be in leather here. I mainly like wearing suits these days, i like dark gray wool suit jackets with a light blue shirt and dark blue tie, and light blue pants, with dark blue leather tennis shoes. Inotherwords i wear a suit to where it looks good!....Earl

I wear leather chaps when I ride. Women have told me my ass looks good in a pair of Levi's 501's, so it's probably not necessary to wear leather pants. (But then again, I never used to buy Levi's until the ladies told me they liked them.)

I own chaps... and I've owned leather pants... the leather pants I only wear when riding at temps under 40°f... chaps are ok up til about 30°f, but if it drops below that you need the leather pants.....
oh, and its not a pretty sight, or stylish when I wear leather... its survival

Since I don't really give a flying macaroon what other people think of my appearance, I'll chime in and say I wear leathers. Even a BBW like me gets cold on the backseat of the bike. Without leathers, they'd be calling me a bitchcicle!! I do however, refrain from wearing leather skirts, and only wear the necessary leather attire on the bike. 
I think anyone who wants to wear them should. But if you don't look good in them, be prepared to have people pointing and staring and saying pretty ignorant and stupid things. After all, ignorance happens!!
