I embarrassed my children and it was fun. My son and daughter went to a local lake Memorial Day. Their friends invited me and I accepted. My children were not happy. While riding in the boat and after several beers, I decided to jump off the boat and into the water. Unfortunately, this little metal thing shaped like a T got hung in the leg of my swim suit. Picture this, my butt is on the boat. My feet and hands are in the water. Try to imagine young people trying to figure out how to get this fat old woman off this metal prong. Nobody wanted to touch that butt. Well, I finally got loose . My daughter cried all the way home --- after her friends invited me back because I was so much fun. Anybody else have a fun weekend?

I went to Emotional Freedom Techniques classes again. Great stuff. We worked on procrastinating. I found there was more to it than procrastinating. I will use EFT to work on fear of failure now. Because that is what came up for me this morning.... hmmmmm. Interesting....

I went to the studio and painted for an entire day and then came home and painted some more. It was bliss!

Spent time on the puter. Shopped a bit for materials for curtains, got a sewing machine...real cheap one. Bought a present for my sister.

Went out snowmobiling yesterday from 3 till 1030pm what a riot..... We went to a few bars, ( first time I have ever done that ) and had a HUGE deluxe cheese burger for $3. We are experiencing a big melt down here. Last Thursday we had near zero temps, in the next few days it will hit 50, so we were riding as the snow was melting under us.. Exploring trails, riding for miles along side the railroad tracks, crossing over deer and coyote tracks, ducking under branches and finding little corners of the county we never knew existed. It was so foggy you could hardly see 50ft in front of you, but with the mild temps, we didn't need a ton of clothes on to keep warm... Every time we stopped, we pulled our helmets off, all we saw a huge smile on each others face. Maybe this is one of those male bonding moments, the memories we are making, or maybe it is just riding up to the door, and having a beer? Or maybe all of it put together.... fun was had by all. And that is what we work so hard all week for.... isn't it?

First half - went on a housecleaning binge, nearly 24 hours straight. My son just laughed and shook his head "here we go again." Second half, spent with my SO, he cooked, we relaxed, and watched the Giants kick some Tampa Bay butt. Especially satisfying after the way it started... . Paid bills, did laundry, took Advils (yeah, my son's right, I tend to overdo stuff at times)...all in all, a very satisfactory weekend!!

A bit of housework, watched a movie with a friend, took down the decorations and laundered the holiday table linen and poked some ice off my roof with a broom, through an upstairs window (not replacing my ice broken front window until spring, just in case )

Finally got the Christmas decorations down, including the outside lights. Read several books, did laundry and now I need to vacuum. Back to school tomorrow. I'm gonna miss sleeping in and reading all day!
