the way these animals are slaughtered is disgusting and should be changed but i enjoy eating chicken and fish.
also, bovine growth hormone is causing young girls to get their periods earlier.
oh, and why is it..this happens quite often...that people find it amusing to TAUNT people who state they're vegetarians by stating stuff like "i am eating so much dead animal tonight" "mmm for every animal you don't eat i'll eat twenty"

Eggplant tastes like eggplant. But meat tastes like murder, and murder tastes pretty god-damned good. A quote from Denis Leary.

Shame upon the vegetarians. Eating the plants that return life giving oxygen to the atmosphere. Keep eating veggies and farting all that methane into the air.

Monkey's eat meat (well some anyway)....
I don't mind if others eat meat. I however have become a veggie freak. I still eat fish though.
I have been without steaks for over 6 years now....I decided to try it one day.....and halfway through my veggie diet I tried to have a steak.....it smelled awful when I cooked it....like poop. (still smells that way to me) it also tasted funny....like dead animal...poop....yuk.
So now instead of saying I don't eat meat cause I love animals.....or I am concerned about health...bla bla bal.....I can honestly say it is because I don't like the taste or texture of bloody meat....chewy chicken....or dried up Turkey.
Mmmmmm....Nanners.....

They say you are what you eat.
If you consume a steady diet of rotting, decaying flesh, well....
I'm just sayin'....

I quit eating meat (for the most part) in 1980. I lost weight and felt good. But, anybody that does that should make sure they get protein elsewhere (nuts, peanut butter, etc)

Joinin' PETA
People for Eating Tasty Animals
Or to quote the great conservative nut job that I admire: Ted Nugent said:
You can't grill it until you kill it! Humans are biologic omivorses. We havethe digestive enzymes to digest meat and vegetable matter.
If I were to give up meat, I'd have to get rid of my pup and dad's kitty. My dad would not be happy if something happened to his Peshie.
Plus, I feel ill if I don't eat meat at least once a day.

I work with the stuff, but I actually don't consume much red meat. I rarely eat steak (once a month maybe). I want to give up eating pork however. It's loaded with sodium. What is funny is interacting with many women customers while they're choosing red meat. They usually say "well I don't eat meat, but my boyfriend/husband does, so how do I prepare this?" That one always makes me chuckle.

This thread has really made me think about animals. It makes me think that I am glad I bought a 4 1/2 kilogram (10 pound) rump on Friday and that I am going to have a nice thick medium rare steak for dinner tonight . YUM YUM. Give me a seat with the other carnavores Vegetablesw are good. On the side.
