ok X writes me the previous day two times in a row and I reply the next day. X replies that same day with "Darling" as the title, "baby" in the first paragraph and "I miss you" at the end of their letter.
I'm sick and tired of receiving these kind of mails. you know someone ONLINE for less than 48hours and the next thing you do is start using words of intimacy.I don't get it. Are these letters intimation of intentions or what? This is beyond my imagination.
Has anyone out there noticed anything like this?

if that's the case, then something should be done cos if not, someone's gonna have to shoot themself in the face

Yeah... I get those too.....
To me, words of intimacy, or terms of endearment, like "sweetie" or "darling" are only appropriate when the relationship has reached a certain point, and is mutual with both parties.

yeah but you could delete, delete and then delete again to a point that deletion could someday be part and parcel of you. consequently when this happens, you might accidentally erase one of the best or most comforting messages in your inbox.
I got like 3 of those( comforting mails) in my inbox from MD members. when things are kinda going the wrong way or when I have a bad day at work or feel kinda blue, I read those mails and eventually pull myself together or come back to normal in less than no time

I agree certain terms should be saved for real relationships.
I had a guy write-first time-and tell me if he beat me in a game of pool I had to marry him... some people just are like that.....

yeppers, I think we all get these types of messages... all you have to do is send a one-word reply to their first mail and suddenly you're the love of their life etc. Bloody irritating, and I just use my delete button!

Sassy, I think Wills means the mails you get when people tell you how much they miss you, want you etc after one mail. Babe, sweetie, sweetheart, hon etc used in normal context is considered general practive in a lot of places, the UK for example, but telling someone how much you miss them after a one-line mail is a bit too much.
