Is it just me, or do the couple now pictured on the MD home page look like BROTHER AND SISTER?
Look at the shape and set of their eyes and their similarly shaped mouths! Coincidence? Let's hope so!

Ya know, I knew I didn't like that pic but didn't really know why. They DO look related! I like the pic they had on there before though.
And I agree with you, Di. I think they should use pics of real couples who met on here!

My cousin married his step-sister. Although now their parents divorced each other so they are no longer step-brother and step-sister, just husband and wife.

Look...if your relative is hot...what's the big deal???
I had 3 cousins I would have married in a heart beat. And they were all women! Shoot, I even told their mom while she was lamenting to me the 6 divorce amongst her 3 girls. I suggested we just keep it in the family. One of the sisters thought it a great idea too! I was soooo close... 
This is one of those areas where social convention has a certain bizarreness to it to me. If you're not gonna breed with a relative of however closeness...what's the big deal? The odds in breeding aren't all that problematic either if you don't do it generation after generation. I use to ask my mom to explain to me why relatives were so off the market of dating, while eyeing my cousins, and she would just roll her eyes and say..."Don't ask silly questions...because!"
I knew at the point she had no idea but that the herd was in that fence.... 
I don't have a sister I'd date...but I've had a number of cousins...and with the collective success at marriage they've all had dating out of the family...I say...what would be so bad about dating within???
But I never was one to let rules affect my drooling....

Talk about cousin lovin' and keeping it in the family!
I'm half Iranian. My Iranian family has a lot on intrabreeding which is acceptable, even with couple married in my father's generation in the U.S.
I've got to admit, that only both sides of my family, I've got cousins who I'd like to increase the odds of our grandafathers chromosones making it to the later generations. 
I also caught hell from my classmates growing up for my liveral stance on intra-family marriage and being from Alabama.
How's being from Alabama like flour? Both are inbred.
