It took surgery to save a 12-foot Burmese python after it swallowed an entire queen-size electric blanket — with the electrical cord and control box.

Can you top that one? What's something your pet eat?......

my bra......

My tampons. One of my dogs got into my bathroom cupboard. Found them all over the floor when I got home. She threw them up for a couple days after. Not sure exactly how many she ate......the vet had a good laugh about it though when I called to find out what to do.

My Corgi dog, she passed away this last March. She was pure white with wavy white fur..and passed away at age 16, by just simply not waking up, no pain was involved, she i discovered loved cakes and pies!! I once ran out of dog food and had a bananna split pie in the fridge, so i put a little of that for her, she scooped it up and had a joyfull look of love, oh heck, i put that complete big rectangular pie pan down and she scooped it up, like she was in heaven.....Earl

One of my cats loved pepperoni, and one actually swiped lettuce off a plate, but the dog (now living in Illinois...), she's a horse of a different color!!

some samples:
yep, the usual cat poop - I actually had to barricade the cats' litter boxes

slippers...she even figured out how to get into my bedroom closet (she had to open three separate doors for that one!!)...I finally gave up and went barefoot until she moved out, got tired of buying new ones...

my blood pressure medicine...plastic container and all (good thing it was the diuretic...but it looked like flood tide when she relieved herself...)

a cell phone

They actually set up a tag team on me...the cats would jump up and knock things on the floor for the dog to grab...

My cats all love lettuce! Orange juice, peas, peach or raspberry tea, thread, fuzz balls, spiders, anglefood cake, and pringles.

not so much ate.. but the kitten, though easily the largest of the cats, crashed into (from the top) of the kids lizard area. Leopard Gecko met cat. Cat paused just a moment while gecko ran up into the hollow "tree" for safety. Gecko and cat still alive... but it was funny as **** watching the commotion for the few seconds.

Ferrest are small so they do not eat to many household items but they have:

ripped holes in my shirts

carry off items , keys, wallet (they love to build a stash)...once when building a computer I could not find CPU, sure enough when I turned around one of them was running down the hall with it in his mouth, that was a fun chase.

My sweetie Naiya liked to do tequila shots with me. Just a little in the cap and she lapped it up.

ohheck, you reminded me of some time ago... roommate had a baby siberian husky.. i had a ferret. the ferret loved to annoy the husky until the husky got up and took after the ferret. mind you, the ferret was way smarter. they would run down the hall, full speed, then the ferret would run UNDER the closet door at the end of the hall. The husky was unable to stop fast enough, and was so intent on the ferret it lost track of where the door was, that WHAMMO... right into it at full speed. Happened many many times, and the husky never learned. Ferret was never cought (hence, proving he was smarter)

When we lived in AZ we had 3 puppies. I was fixing spaghetti for supper one evening and when I returned to the kitchen to stir the sauce, I found my wooden spoon missing.....hmmmmmm.......Didn't take long to figure out who the guilty party was. The black lab/black shephard mix (named Harley.,,son's puppy) knocked it off the counter and promptly chewed it to pieces while the other two puppies feasted on the garlic/parmesean bread (still frozen in the wrapper by the way).

Between the three of them they also ate the following items (no clue which ate which):
vcr tapes
cd's
newspapers
slippers
tennis shoes
patio furniture
fencing (wooden fence around the yard......gaping holes obviously chewed through)
several leashes and tie out cords (plastic coated metal ones included)
sprinkler from the front yard
cushion off the couch
pillow from the couch and 1 from daughter's bed
ruffles off the bottom of daughter's comforter
cigarettes......cigarette lighters (empty ones)
ink pens and pencils
laundry basket (my personal favorite....lol)
roll of duct tape (discovered that when I tried to duct tape the laundry basket back together)
antennae off a small radio
spare tire for the van was a favorite chew toy

The funny thing is that these puppies were hearty eaters and always shared their food in their bowls. Even have that on video tape.....very cute........After the first puppy (daughter's) got parvos (sp) and my daughter nursed her back to health(with help of a vet) none of the puppies ever ate anything but their food and doggy approved chew toys again. Except the collar off my favorite denim and black lace jacket.....lol

[

Nah, Di. I didn't get her until six months after graduating UAB.

Reminds me to lock my homework up away from my terrier.

Another funny...

When I had a pack of five, the pit/lab and collie would eat all the Pedigree we'd put out for the rest because they were the portliest and most domunant.

Well the anorexic lab looking thingy, Ladybug, didn't take any lip from the larger two, so she'd eat when ever and what ever she wanted. The shepard mix was the meekest, so couldn't get enough to eat.

The Ladybug started grabbing a mouthful of food and bring it to her buddy, the shepard mix.

We got a prematuely weened kitten the day we moved into our house. At the time the anorexic lab looking thingy had yet to be spayed. I woke up in the middle of the night hearing a slurping sound.
L'bug was at my feet, so I reached up to pet her. I rubbed her from head to tail. When I got to her belly, I discovered the source of that slurping: That crazy kitten was trying to suckle from the dog's teet!

The same kitten developed a taste from my armpits preferably between 11:00pm and 2:00am.

I will never own an animal shelter again!
