Why cry N.O.W. over spilled (breast) milk? 
I may have burned my bra, but American Family Values were quite well instilled in my offspring...so is there a problem? I think not. (Of course I never accepted being treated like "chattle"...so that probably helped)

Yep. Values, family and otherwise, drive things like NOW...not the other way around. Some people actually think that recognition of womens' value can be a way of strengthening the family. I actually know a number of two-parent families where the mom's the primary breadwinner, and somehow none of them see a problem with that. I'm very much pre-NOW, and I grew up in a household where everyone did everything...bro and I both cooked, cleaned, gardened and did general carpentry and plumbing chores. Dad usually cooked and took us to church. Non-traditional, but there was no lack of family values. But then, my dad was an unusually intelligent and self-confident man.

To answer the question..yes it has..hasn`t hurt my family values at all..
NOW is committed to exposing and organizing against the deliberate return to the days when male control went unchallenged..  .
