The worst dating site I have encountered is Yahoo Personals. Seeing as they were being investigated by law enforcement agencies does not give rise to sentiments of a positive nature.

Really? I did not know that Yahoo was under investigation? My least fav site is plentyoffish.com I have had my profile deleted 3 times just because I had a woman stalking me and I told her to leave me alone or I would call the authorities, she complained and they banned me, I tried to send them an email and they totally ignored me. Very frustrating!

not sure if i'd say it's the worst dating site i've been on but loveaccess has chat rooms in it that are not very secure, i got hacked through them myself last year and i am a paid member there for life, i have to say that the lack of security on the site has made me wonder if i didn't waste my money on it.

Wow..now see I would personally say this site...oops...only cuz I never really get anything from it...I found Mate1 good but it is mostly americans but I love plenty of fish...I have made some good friends and had some good dates..just no spark...  It's almost too hard to find your true love nowadays...lol...

Thanks for the heads up about Plenty-Of-Fish. I have had no problems yet, but sounds like they cater to certain clientelle.
Yahoo Personals and Date.com  are definately out to pick your pocket and gather information about you. Top 3 for me are, MatchDoctor, PlentyOfFish and Bookofmatches.   All of them are there to do what they advertise they can do...Get You A Date or Friends.
After being married for 23yrs   and losing, I'm definately taking my time and enjoying the scenery this time round!

I'd say AdultMatchdoctor was pretty bad because before you could even
get a hello out of your mouth or typed out... the other person was talking
dirty.
Which can be fun....but geez its nice to get to know each other a teeny weeny bit first.

Ehhhh, it's not really a dating site. I signed up for a myspace account cause a friend had been going on and on for months about how great it was. Well, the first profile I check out links me to a porn site I couldn't get out of. The 2nd profile I looked at froze my computer for a good five minutes before it started barraging me with viruses. I had to pull the computer plugs out of the wall >.<

Hi, Funny I was a paid member on Date.com only a week and found a real sweet man on that site and am still with him 9 months later. We met a month after emailing and deleted our profiles. Paid members do tend to accomplish more, at least it did in our case. This site is similar to PlentyofFish when a free member. One can be as sweet as ever and never get a wink never mind an email in months.

Im not quite sure what would be the worst dating site.
But any site that says its free and when you join up and its not really free cause they make you pay for everything is false advertising. Ya its free to create an account but isnt that like all sites?

Even though i like plentyoffish.com i just find it quite rude when you send a message to someone in my case a female and they read your message. Like what is there to read? Just read and reply its that simple.
Then what they do is play mind games such as reading it then replying back to you a month later or reading it and deleting it then sending you a message as if you never contacted them.
Just find that all so rude.

DATE.COM... tried to set up profile at least 3 times and it kept looping back to start profile. I emailed them with the problem and never got any response. Last email to them was to say Adios, and will not be back...but what do they care!!!
Great news for me: I'm off all sites 'cause HE FOUND ME!!! THE ONE I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT    Wishing every one of you all the best. God Bless. Annie

Any site that advertises being free and then you pay for sending messages, replying to messeges, instant messages, etc. Is the WORST!
This site is close to being perfect, but POF is better cause they say what they mean. FREE!
Don't waste your time with Lavalife (cash grab) Ashley Madison (bigger cash grab) Adult Matchdoctor (your sister site sucks coconuts) Date.com (unless you like spam for breakfast...lunch.... and dinner)
The problem with the Free Sites is that they haven't perfected the screening process to find good apples and bad. Really I think that it's the members that make up free sites on how they conduct themselves. It can either be a positive experience cause everybody is social and actually willing to meet somebody, not just here to "chat on boards" or "see who's out there without actually meeting". Social activity goes beyond your keyboard people! I will make a suggestion to Matchdoctor to see if they add a new feature that I've recommended to POF see if they take my advice.

the worst site i found was twos company all i ever got from there was those con men wanting you to send them money or they want your address to send you things to pass on.told on guy that im not stupid my elevator actually goes all the way to the top. so he emails me back ask if i have any friends i can hook him up with ........Dohh.

Plenty of Fish... Is a mass internet meat market.
Even if you meet someone great on there, you will be surprised to find that they are just too enticed to see if they can find someone hotter, easier, richer....
There is just SO many people on there... thank goodness there is not a Plenty of Fish bar.  Matchdoctor is awesome!!

Everyone seems to bash the site... Plenty Of Fish, its actually much better than even matchdoctor. Its also free and its possible to find to women looking for intimate ecounters. This site seems to be better for Americans, Canadians are too afraid to show a picture on their profile, who's going to notice?
The pay personals..( too many to mention ) are all a scam. Who wants to pay a monthly fee to email someone who doesn't exist? I actually found a latin site strictly representing women from the Carribean and South America:) These profiles were real, i was able to meet with several young ladies when i went for vacation
