amateurmatch.com is the worst dating site ever!!!!!.....on first signup.......within hours you are getting ton's of mail from them!!.......the pics of women are hot......but none of them really exist!!!.....and talk about corny e-mail's!!!......they try everything to get your money!!!! .......in my opinion.....all dating site's are bull!!!.....it's just money.....plenty of fish and a few of the other free ones are ok....at least you aren't laying out ton's of cash to meet someone

Have not tried the site myself but perhaps the individuals did not get back to you because they were distracted by life. That happens to me sometimes although I do understand that it is frustrating. I say "hang in there"....for sure don't take it personally and move on...just as you have.

I haven't found 1 that's any better then the other, their all about making $$ and find that either most woman are playing games or sites are putting up fake profiles. Why would 90% of those women really need to be on s site to find someone.

I appreciate all the comments I have read here on dating sites. I believe we have to have the right perspective and try to remain positive. Yes there are many "cons" but there is also many many "real" people like me who sincerely want to meet someone special. Sites like this one serve a wonderful purpose... we can view many many people and have an easy way to get to know one another..all the very best to everyone on here!!!!!

You ever heard of quest personals or lavalife? These are like a few of those "telephone dating sites" where people register a box number and talk to people.

The worst one I ever got on was True.com-they will have employees send you emails, stating their "interest" in you; they will also fabricate the "winks" or whatever they were, from other members to you...as well as phony emails to you from other members.

I was on one site that would give new members 30 days to try out the site. Worst thing was they disconnected my account on the 20th day not 30th or even let me keep my account but disable functions. I emailed them about this all they told me was it was there site and they can do whatever they want.
Im not sure of the website url or name but i hope there not around anymore.
BTW worst telephone dating line i was on was called Tele Wella stupid name for dating line name but what was worse was all the bugs they had on the line. For example you would log in and for some strange reason someone elses profile would be in your account. So you would have to hang up and call back and hopefully its back to normal.
I was suppose to get 6 months FREE since i was like the only one who cared to tell them about the issues but at 3 months they cut me off. Also they didnt have a chat room they said woman they spoke to didnt want one. I said ummmmmmm guys are paying for this and your taking a chat room away cause some women told you too? Of course fewer guys called and from what i heard some of them cancelled there accounts cause they couldnt speak like one on one with females. Then they got a chat room and it was stupid cause you could only chat with someone if on there profile they let you or something dumb like that.
The worse part of the line was they had a sound board where people can speak about anything within reason. All you would hear is how stupid someone was or how they wanted to beat someone up. That had the be the worse line i have ever been on. From no chat room to letting people swear and curse and threaten each other on a sound off board.
Thank god the line doesnt exist anymore. The website still exists http://www.telewella.com/ i emailed them once but got a email back saying that the email doesnt exist anymore. Probably the #1 worse dating line i have ever been on and thank god i never paid cause i bet they scammed alot of people who did pay.

I find that most paid dating sites (including MatchDr) are scams. They may work fine in the US but in Canada they just don't get the geographical distance between one end of most provinces and the other. I live in Kenora ON and the only way I can find people withing 2 hours of me is to search Winnipeg MB and then I eliminate many that are near me in Ontario... But what am I to do? use Ontario an then search thru 500 ads that are for people in the Ottawa to Windsor corridor for every 1 I find west of Thunder Bay (which BTW T-bay is far to far east for me to date someone from)...
The dating sites really need to break up the 8 largest provinces into smaller search areas... I know they try to use our postal codes for this purpose but they have yet to perfect it... BTW MatrchDr distance search is one of the worse one I have used to find someone in the Northwest!
BTW of all the sites I have used both paid and REAL free sites, plentyoffish seems to work the best and it is FREE. Someone mentioned early in this thread being booted off due to complaining about a stalker... well, PoFish is free and thus they are not going to take time to settle quarrels... I'm sure some of the paid sites would take the same course of action unless you have prepaid 3 months @ $ 30 CDN/month in which they may tread a little more cautiously so to keep your $$$$.

This dating site is probably the worst of them all... but what can you do.. plenty of fish is good because it really cators to the area that you live in.. i met a few guys off there and it turned out i got some really good friendships.. but so far the best if flirtbox... you can do everything for frree...... everything.. check it out

Russian dating sites are very organized scammers  and will actually send you pictures of there  grand-ma and the gang and will dip into your pocket with:
you must join this site to reply to this lady and BE-AWARE  and DELETE any request for money, from anything because the picture you are dealing with is the wife of the person you are actually writing to and communicating with; AND the guys sit around and  drink Vodka and laugh  and scam you, just as if we would have beer and watch hockey// It is a pity, but it is reality and the only way to find truth is to find physical contact with your mate and just just see where it goes. Finally ; I can not see how a guy who advertises himself for a relationbship can scam a chick, and If so what(%) would it be and I have found (90%) of all girls from eveywhere who communicate with me are : scammers: house wives , or just plain beauty seeking and demanding to be paid for there good looks. So guys,  I have come up with a few good ways to avoid the 90% of crap  that will come my way  and only honesty, and $independance$ ( the strong) will survive for communications.  And you must do the same to avoid

Hi hardcore13 this site and plentyoffish are far the better sites out there and this is coming from someone who hasnt met anyone yet. Even though i had issues with some people from this site and POF i still say those 2 are my fav.
I will check out that flirtbox you mentioned.

Well i checked out that flirtbox site i joined the canadian one. Its alright but pretty stupid how you cant have a profile and people have to go on your interests to contact the person there profile they're viewing.
I also waited like 1 week and didnt hear back from them about them finalizing my profile about something i edited.
So i ended up leaving the site.

I have yet to find a good site. The only site i kinda like is PoF and thats only because its free. If I had the time and money I would go after the websites that claim to be free but in the end are not. False Advertising is against the law.
PoF has alot of rude "ladies", most of them ARE looking for the best looking and richest guy they can find. The only ones you may have a chance with are the over weight ones and possibly the single moms (if your into that). I also think that there are alot of posers profiles too on that site. If it was'nt 100% free I'd search for a better site.
Most of the adult matching sites are scams they post alot of fake profiles. I'm also not to crazy about this website, Because I was lured under false pretense to this site. I had thought it was free, when really it isn't.
Most be nice to have all the advertising and still con ppl out of there money to be able to get full access to this site and many others like this. AdultMatchdoctor is a joke! too many fakers there!

I will give my props to this site.... I was very skeptical of it because there really are a lot of people everywhere no matter what site you go to. But this one gave me a good suprise what can I say I have met a really cool guy that is it.. well see where it goes from here... so i guess I have to say THANKYOU MATCHDOCTOR!! So freestyle don't give up to soon... Someone was about to and I opened his eyes ... ha ha so to speak.

Raz2k i'm a member of PoF and i totally agree with you. I dont have the most rich job in the world but im happy with the people i work with and the pay I get especially for the small work I do. But I've had alot of girls basically ask me how much money I make at my job and there so rude.
Also a couple of girls gave me their number so I call them and most of the time there rude and tell me not to call them. So i dont call them then i get a private message on PoF saying how im rude for not calling them when I have their number.
There are plenty of really good reasons I'm single and btw im happy being single cause every girl who wastes my time gives me more reasons to stay single and just look for girls to talk to and thats it.
