I suggest we make it next Wednesday evening. That will give us enough time to get enough people to attend. There is plenty of free parking along Decarie North, there are two metro stations, and the Laval bus terminus is at the Cote Vertu Metro station. People coming from the South Shore just have to go straight up to Decarie (Highway 15-North). I recommend we get at least 10 confirmations before setting up the exact location. I welcome any suggestions for a location.
Here is some criteria I recommend for the initial rendez-vous location:
It should be smoke free
It should be inexpensive-Spot Cafe
It should have Internet access-Couche Tard now has Net Cafe
It should be a safe area (Police station is on this street)

I've been to these get togethers w/on-line folk before, and it was always at some loud and smokey bar  You think we could get somewhere w/neither of those traits?

I will let you know by Monday, how many people will be attending. If I have at least 10 then, I will hold the event. If I have more than 20 then I will need someone's help to organize it.

Thanks for your response. So far, two women and six men are interested in attending. I will wait till I have more people and will inform you is enough people attend to make the drive worthwhile for all.
We would need a balance between the number of men and women.

Sure, I will let you know. There have been new developments:
-most ladies want this event to be for long-term relationships
-some ladies want the event to be in Laval
-some ladies want to make sure the men are not married
I am just letting you know the issues so if you have recommendations, let'e discuss them.

i am not married, no kids and looking for anything.... whenever the meeting is.. whereever it is..please let me know... i have a car i can drive.. and if someone wants a lift.. i can pick them up.. i live in st-laurent area

I'm not sure what that means. Long-term relationship? It's going to be one night out, for cryin' out loud
I'm not opposed to a LTR, and I'm not married, but Laval might be a bit of a turnoff.
