Hi i'm new here just thought i'd post in the forum although there doesn't seem to be alot of people from saskatchewan in here which otherwise might make meeting people difficult here. If your from this flat dusty old province drop in and say hi i'd hate to be the only one.

Hey Rover,
I grew up in Northern Saskatchewan and, although people always assume I'm a stubble jumper, I'm here to set the story straight. I love this province, the big sky, friendly people, expansive wilderness. I just came back from living 5 years in BC and I have felt so good and grounded since I arrived. I'm new on this site, tho, so I don't know if there are many or few Saskatchewanians here. Although there are parts of the province that is flat and dusty, the people are friendly and interesting, I think. But then I guess I am one of them, so I have somewhat of a biased opinion.
Anyway, enjoy your day, and maybe check out north of P.A. it's pretty up there.

Hi everyone. You're right...there doesn't seem to be many Sask people on this site, particularly any from the southwestern corner down here in cowboy country. Too bad, cause It's hard enough to meet new people when you already know most of your neighbours. I guess that's not all bad, especially when you need a helping hand. Anyhow, just thought I'd post to this forum and say hello to the rest of you.

Don't you just love our reserved province? 709 views to Saskatchewan forum and 4 posts...now 5. I love it!!! I wonder how many of us are using this as a dating site and how many are just networking and cruising for new pals. Our population makes the pickings a little lean. When you have a rural mind-set and work in an urban setting.it is even harder!!! Have an awesome week everyone.Agribition is on!! Who is wearing pink to the Rodeo?

Hi Pollyanna...nice to hear from you. Ya, not many speaking up from our fair province. Maybe they'll come out of the woodwork when cabin fever sets in.

Hey Country....Nice to see you. On coffee row, they come out of the woodwork to say how desperate people must be to go online. Online is great for meeting fantastic new friends ( thank goodness, very few scumbags. They always show their colours... only got burned once. ).
The prairies are used to busy lives, people far apart and traveling to see loved ones. Selection is sparse in this area, unless you do the weekend 'old teen routine', of fall down until you are drunk. Dating wise... not really as interested as I was a few years ago. It is weird, guys like to have their space after they have been in a relationship and women jump back in. When guys are ready to try again, women are not as sure.
I am starting to like being able to pack up and go, meet so many new people, and the emotional rollercoaster of a relationship has lost a bit of the glow. I've been enjoying the new friendships and skipping the middle-age moodiness.
Nice in some ways, sad in others.

'Tis just the Saskatchewan way Spilly.... I hnow a few who are on here ... but would never admit it to our friends. He doesn't even have his location as Sask. Mind you... must be a prairie thing. Most of the guys and gals don't even list their own areas as their key location. Somebody might know them!!!! Ah yeah.... and so what? They are on here then too!!
Lovely soft flakes are coming down this morning. This site gets busy in the winter months and blends out after April. I liked Farmers Only to but everyone seems to be stateside or wrong age or location.:)

Merry Christmas All:)
Some of us don't us these sites for dating anymore. It isn't really reality for some of these folks on here. They are too busy trying to get others to carry their baggage. But use it for making the most awesome pals.......now this is technology at its best!

Hey Everybody, Merry Christmas! Each year, I officially mark the passage of time by going through all the traditions and rituals of the holiday season...setting up the tree, wrapping gifts, overearting with family and friends...The thought always occurs to me at some point--- "What will the coming year bring???" Well it sure would be nice to find a tall, dark, handsome, virile, sweet wealthy new man just for me before too many more years pass me by. Okay...how about just a virile, sweet man who's crazy about me? Don't know about the rest of you, but that's what's missing in my life. Yeah, I know I sound pretty desperate, but come on...where is my Mr. Right??? If he's lurking around out there, I sure would like a word with him.

Hey Country....nothing wrong with you, just a sign of the times and living in a province with low numbers:) I tend to use this site to keep track of my real pals. The online dating thing is way too scary now. The players I could see a mile away but it is the 'nice guys' who hide their colours. Someone should write a book

Hey Polly, thanks. This is a nice way to connect and keep in touch. The online dating thing is still a relatively new concept to me.. caution is a part of it, that's for sure. Ya, the players are out there, but so are the good ones.
