So, what are your favourites? Are they new or classic? What kind of movie do you prefer?

Gone with the Wind
And I'm soooooooo excited because The Belcourt in Nashville is showing it as their weekend matinee this weekend! Watching it on the big screen, the way it was intended to be seen, is such a great experience.
MJ - Shakespeare in the Park and old movies at The Belcourt - I love Nashville!

I don't know if a 6-hour miniseries counts, but my all-time favorite is the 1995 Pride and Prejudice miniseries starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
I don't think anyone could improve on the casting, the acting, the filming--anything! The characters acted like people in that time period should have acted. The dialogue was also authentic (as far as I can tell from reading....I actually was not born that long ago ;-)
The recent movie, starring Keira Knightly, was sooooooo awful. I've loaned my copy of the miniseries to several people, and they were all enchanted with it. I'd suggest watching it, if you are interested in Pride and Prejudice. I bet you'll never want to see any other version, either, after seeing it.

I suppose a toss-up between "Big Trouble in Little China" and "African Queen" with the "Godfather" as well.

1.Rambo I,II, and III 2.Last Blood 3.The Warriors (We've got the streets suckas!) 4.Joe's Apartment 5.Commando 6.Demolition Man 7.The Terminator 8.Star Wars Collection 9.Terminator 2 10.Blood Sport 11.Double Impact 12.Cobra 13.Heavy Metal 14.Heavy Metal 2000 15.Troy 16.The Patriot 17.Braveheart 18.Alexander 19.Joan Of Ark The Messenger 20.Kingdom Of Heaven 21.The Gladiator 22.Super Marior Brothers 23.Juice 24.Class Act
Mostly 1970's-1980's-1990's films. And early 2000 films before Hollywood and all the followers went to hell after they decided to make all sissy movies.
America no longer holds my attention in theaters anymore so I just buy the good movies on DVD. Only the real movies they made in the past. God bless the makers of my favorite films. But curse the ones who've ruined the film industry for this new generation. Untalented f*ggots. I'd rather watch Titanic 34 times in a row than to watch a movie called "Step up" even once. I hate dancing.
