Asimov's one of my favorites...I Robot was the first of the robot series - if you haven't read them, try the books... even his worst books are better than most.

I started watching Sci-Fi as a child; haven't stopped yet...the best one for me was Babylon 5. Too many to list otherwise; now I find nothing unless you have cable out here in these "outer limits" of BC, so I'll wait for the dvd collection, especially on the new version of Battlestar Galactica...a fantastic improvement on the old tv series...:)

Another fan of the Sci-Fi genre here. I grew up with such classic shows such as 'Lost In Space', 'Star Trek', 'Voyage To The Botton Of The Sea', Land Of The Giants' and 'Time Tunnel', all of which were of course US productions. We Brits never really had the budgets that the US studios had but we did come up with a couple of gems with the likes of 'Space 1999' and 'UFO'. My personal favourites are the 1950's 'B' movies, I have spent years collecting them on video, with classics like 'The Attack Of The Fifty Foot Woman', I Married A Monster From Outer Space', 'The Monster That Challenged The World' and 'Them' as well as many others.........

Today's my birthday and my son bought me the last Season of The X-Files, Season Nine. I never get tired of the reruns, I wish they would make a continuation of it, maybe as Scully child grown up, its half extraterrestrial, now that would be really neat. As for Mulder, how does it end, I guess I have to wait to see how they ended Season Nine.

Some terrific science fiction movies of the past were The Day The Earth Stood Still, Starman, Cocoon, K-PAX and of course the 9 seasons of The X-File. The Lord Of The Rings movies, they were more a Fantasy type but it was super. My belief is we all are part Extraterrestrials its what makes us different from animals, I believe its our so called "missing leak" scientist cannot find or admit.

Misspelled word there above, I meant our "missing link". I believe the Elohims of the Bible were our creators and they were ETs that came down to earth for earth's minerals, created us by using their DNA with the cave beings to produce "intelligent workers" for them, so what else is new? They came long ago for our gold, today its called black gold.
Some of their hybrids operate and own jewrely stores, and we still look to the skies to travel or with wonder, and we still have a fascination with minerals don't we. Thats because the Elohims have it in us because we are part they.

More so books than movies, haven't seen a movie that to me did a good book justice yet.
Lord of the rings and the hobbit of course but also:
elminster series of books
Elric saga
Damia series
all of asimov's robot books
Forgotten realms-Drizz series is excellent
the ship series (ship who sang etc)
and many others i can't remember right off.
would recommend gil the arm hamelton if you can find it,
very good read about a cop with a fantom third arm solving crimes.
