"Lord Byron: Selected Letters and Journals", by Leslie Marchand. Who can resist a Romantic poet who was devastatingly charming, handsome, friends with Mary Shelley (who wrote Frankenstein) and a total scoundrel and ladies man?

I just read a really good book called "The Yada Yada Prayer Group". Maybe this should be in the religious forum but it's a modern day book about a group of women who meet at a womens; conference and are put together in a prayer group. This was the first in the series and there are about 5 more with a new one coming out this Oct. The author is Neta Jackson.

I'd be curious if anyone else has read any of these and what you thought.

I just finished reading "House" by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. I'll read anything but I really enjoy Horror (or supernatural fiction). What surprised me about this one is its a Christian horror story. I didn't know there was such a thing. I liked the cover and read the back of the book and bought it. It was excellent though. Full of surprises...edge of your seat type of book. It wasn't preachy at all.

Now I'm going to read "A Painted House" by John Grisham. Another surprise in that it doesn't have any lawyers in it. Wow! I can't wait to get into it.

Just finished "The Good Guy" by Dean Koontz. Excellent book and if you like Koontz you will enjoy this book. If you have not yet tried any of his works and like mysteries that are a little different give this one a try you just might be surprised.
