f*** record producer's dream.
I'm so tired of cookie cutter, tall, thin, blonde, country girl.
America made Taylor Hicks the winner because we can appreciate someone who's average like we are as a person but can also sing their ass off.
Every year we get the same women in that competition over and over, save for a few gems who never quite make it to the end, save for Fantasia.
And no, I don't mean the same women audition every year. I mean the same type of women, women who look and sound the same, audition every year and make it far. And they say they want unique. I don't even think they know what unique means.
It's disgusting to me.

I have seen several women and girls this season who sang well but were passed over because, as Simon would say, we have heard the same thing a million times before.
Or Randy would say, they were good, but not special or unique, so, it's a no.
Just tonight a woman (Tami Gosnell, who looked like she could be Carly Simon's younger brother) got high praises (and a gold ticket) because she was different as well as an excellent singer.
Baylie Brown was exceptionally attractive and, to quote Simon again, has a good voice with the potential to be great in a couple of years.

Poor Baylie Brown. . . forgot her lyrics. And I really wanted to see her go far, too.
That Beat Box dude and the group of guys he was with. . . they were excellent!
What happed to the Opera Girl from New York who made it through to Hollywood? I bet she decided not to go for fear of trouble with her school. I didn't see her anywhere.

I found the girls way way better than the guys this year ..... a few on there who were really great
So far none of the guys were outstanding .... but they may start to shine in the coming shows 
Cat Deeley ....oh boy where did they did her out of ... she makes me cringe to watch her

I kinda like the guy who dedicated his song to his "grandma"... Can't remember his first name. Last name is Richardson and he lives in VA.....
OMG  what happened to Kelly Pickler's hair? Did she take part of her money and get a Boob Job?

Tim, I agree. I really liked Baily Brown. Too bad she forgot her lyrics. Maybe she'll be back next year. 
OK....I am SO pissed that AJ was voted off! He was one of my favorite male vocalists.  Sanjaya should have gone home. He has no spark! I also like Chris Sligh, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson, and Sundance.
BUT...I think a woman will win this year and going by the singing so far it should be between Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle. Jordin Sparks, Sabrina Sloan, Gina Glockson, and Stephanie Edwards (the Fantasia clone) are also excellent.
I agree, LGQ...Antonella should have been voted off! Ugh...the girl canNOT sing!

I was SO disappointed in the male singers last night. How boring was that show? My favorites are Lakisha and Melinda Doolittle and after them are Blake, Chris Sligh and Stephanie Edwards.

My dad thinks it's a conspiracy by the Indians to keep Sanjeva on the show. 
He does not sound so good. Even Paula was shocked.
