Slow Folk songs are my favorites my least favorite is Rap and all those loud fast background screaming songs with screaming singers. My kids use to say, its mom and her sad songs. Oh well.

Favorite : Metal= Death, trash, black, dark, melodic, epic, viking, speed, heavy , goth, industrial ... ( true musicians that can all play more then one instrument feel their music write their own sounds and lyrics and work hard to get their followers ...
Dislike : Hip Hop, Rap, Hardcore, pop, trance, techno, country, german lyrics and german bands, volksmusic, reggae, ska, .... anything that does not need talent and the musicians are hyped by the media and do not know how to read a single note ... anything where they dont preform live and use playback vocals ... period no ifs and buts about it ...
and i dont waver of it either ...

Favorites to listen to: blues, jazz, disco (hey I like disco dammit!), orchestral classical but not piano, world fusion, folk, funk (gimme Barry White any day, baby!) and soul. Oh, and traditional Celtic stuff like the Chieftains.
Favorites to dance to: salsa, club, some trance, some hiphop, swing!
Dislike immensely: most country, all gansta rap, and adult contemporary when it's soulless and bland.
I just discovered Tony Bennett, too...I'm sort of in heaven!

You're probably right...have you noticed that all the teenagers now are listening to 80's music?? I thought it was bad enough the first time around, but a friend's daughter has started calling herself CiCi after CiCi Deville...
