What are some of the more interesting movies you have watched? Not just the new ones. What made them stand out for you? What were the topics and what moved you about them?
I have seen a variety that have brought out both positive and negative emotions. I have seen the oldies, the nostalgic, the comedies, the musicals, the horror, the action, the thrillers, the controversial, the documentaries.
I have laughed, cried, felt outraged, exhilerated, empathised, sympathised, chuckled, remembered the good times and the not so good.

To get this going a little, some of the ones I've seen recently, including mini-series are...
Mini Series:
Tin Man The Lost Room Jekyll Battlestar Galactica (New Series) Enterprise
Motion Pictures:
Danika Untraceble Juno The Nines Saw III Shrooms Happy Face Ghost World 28 Days Later 28 Weeks Later P.S. I Love You Angel Eyes No Reservations Gothica The Jacket Shadow Puppets
This is a short list, I've seen many more, I should make a list and my reviews on them. These are some I might recomend to others, I should make another thread of Movies and shows not to watch!

OMG.
I watched a movie one time (australian) called "Chopper". I found it quite entertaining and wild. I proceeded to tell a friend of mine in australia that I had watched it and it would freak them out. Boy was I wrong. She told me to watch a movie called.......
Bad Boy Bubby
Words cannot describe this movie. It is really hard to find here in the US, but if you ever get a chance to watch it, you will never forget it.

Anyone ever seen Ravenous? Very good film, albeit gory.

Katt-I'm doing that as well, also on the second season. I'm not usually one to watch violence, but this series does the good/evil 'thing' in a way that keeps me coming back for more.

I don't like violence either. This show though gets into the actual lives of these people. The kids, what they eat, and how things really are.

Add Recount to this list...just watched it tonight on HBO...what a fantastic and interesting movie. Now Oliver Stone has absolutely no excuse for his casting choices for "W" - the people who portrayed the Bushes, Al Gore, Jimmy Baker, Theresa LePore, and Katherine Harris were creepily accurate. He should use them.
