Ever check out other people's taste in music?

I was just on the thread about what people happen to be listening to ....
A thought occurred to me; when you see a title that someone is listening to, do you log on to one of those music websites to hear what that music sounds like? A rather esoteric question, but I was curious!

Only if I'm interested in the music...there are a few people on here whose taste I trust enough to take a recommendation from.
But I don't think I've answered your question  I guess I do a little bit of judging people by their taste in music, but not much...so long as I'm not facing a lifetime of C&W or gangsta rap, I'm good

Now Danae...You have to listen to Country music...LOL..Don't hurt my feelings and say you don't...The gangsta rap I can handle but not Country

Sorry ET...can't take it! There are a few country singers I'll listen to, like Patsy Cline and George Jones (if I want to cry.) But otherwise? No bueno...
It's a wonder that everyone in Texas hasn't jumped off a bridge by now...C&W is just depressing.

i used 2 do that with spinner.com. nowadays, no. i dont like most ppl's idea of music. eww! i do like danae's choice of country  . more of the contemporary stuff sounds like they're whining or imitating someone else from back n the day.

Yep, I love my Rhapsody. I do that all the time..check out what people are listening to, and if I'm not familiar with it, check it out...it's really not as much insights as to broaden my horizons...(my hips are broadening spending so much time posting...got to up my dancing). But come on, how can you not love Redneck Woman? C&W's definitely not my favorite, but I'll dance to anything, including hip hop..
