at certain calandar events, watch movies that coincide with the event. Like at Halloween for the month of October, we watch one or two "scary/halloween" movies a week. Same for christmas. Does anyone else do this? Actually those are the only holidays that I watch like that.

Of course! It only heightens the sense of holiday spirit, and gives you an excuse to watch a movie you've already seen like 5 billion times (example: I watch Christmas Story every time December rolls by).

Yes, I do that.
In October AMC runs "Monsterfest", 24/7 horror movies, and I watch that every year and during December I watch those Rankin/Bass stop motion animation Christmas specials.

Hey Funky  I thought you were only here at the batmobile............  place  aha I found you here.................too  I do it all the time every year for Christmas................  I watch the old classics............I love to watch the old movies

Mystery.. I love watching the old movies too. My favorite memory is when my mother and I watched "Imitation of Life" with Lana Turner.. OMG we cried. I miss those moments. Now I have to watch alone, "Lovin' Man" isn't into that. :D

I do it ... kinda .... thankgiving we watch foot ball ... but a miricle on 34th street is one I watch on christmas ... but I bought it so now I dont ... I bought a christmas story ... but actually dont watch it either .. also one of those holidays there is always a star wars marrithon on ... soooo0o0o .....
but we watch more wizardy movies on halloween and scary one after the kids are out ... but I tend to watch movies oover and over again anyway ,.. if there good .. I think there treasures

Hey You guys......funky.........sorry for the delay.......  I absolutely love that movie....................it's been a favorite for many many years..................  It's a classic and I love classics........you are glued to the tv................it's so good!
I really miss those movies.................

yeah but there is another one where he just gets married, and nothing goes right for him, the setting is New years. Ive only seen it twice. they just dont show it much.
Citizen Cain or "kain" i dont know how to spell it. I watch that one for the holidays ( not really a holiday movie but I watch it) . Other than the camera angles I dont see what all the praise is about with that movie.
