I have tried to follow this show this summer and I have heard some of the most amazing singing ever.. Folks coming on that had put their dreams on hold to raise families, do their time in the military,....
Some of the acts are truly out of this world and have brought me to tears.. tonight was a Ozzie Imitator.. Sharon Osborne asked him to drop his pants just so she could tell if that was her husband or not.. 
Tonight was the final US search and starting next week the finalists will start showing their talent in Vegas.. I can't wait..

Looks like it is going to be a great season with some really talented folks. Will be interesting to see who can win the big prize this year. They are now down to the final 30 acts and will be moving to LA and begin their live performances in front of large audience.

I voted for Kevin Skinner online. I'm sure glad he won. I bet he will end up with a record deal soon. He deserves it.

I knew Kevin Skinner would win it the minute he opened his mouth and sang that first note.. even Piers said he thought Kevin would take the big prize

I am glad but surprised he did win it. I thought that Padilla or perhaps Beaman would have won it. I sure hope that the songs he has written are good so that after his year is up he can get a great recording contract.

kevin will end up in nashville..... padilla will most likely be signed by an opera company.. she was awesome but not really a vegas act.. the dance couple with the big guy were awesome... and so sweet.. but this turned out very well...... sweet N L

I'm very happy for Kevin and hope he does well. But.....I'm tellin' ya, those Texas Tenors gave me chill bumps when they sang! Woo hoo!

I know what you mean redhairNfreckles. The Texas Tenors were all gorgeous.  I was hoping for them to get it if Kevin Skinner didn't.

the Tenors were fantastic too.. they will probably wind up with a recording contract of their own.
