I just love watching the old movies, not neccessarily black and white but at least less than 1960. I watched Mildred Pierce the other night. I just love that movie, it was just a really cool movie. What is your favorite "oldie"

Several other favorites include

On the Waterfront - Marlon Brando - 1954
Citizen Kane - Orson Welles - 1941
Rebecca - Laurence Olivier - 1940
Lawrence of Arabia - Peter O'Toole, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Omar Sharif - 1962
A Streetcar Named Desire - Vivien Leigh, Marlon Brando, Karl Malden - 1951

Foreign Language Films -
The Seven Samuri - Akira Kurosawa - 1954
The Battleship Potemkin - Sergei Eisenstein - 1925

Rebecca is particularly under appreciated. It may be Hitchcock's best film. Incredible cast (in addition to Olivier, it stars Joan Fontaine & Dame Judith Anderson), filled with plot twists & intrigue. If you haven't seen it, then you are missing out on a true classic.
