I'm a Metal kind of guy, but I enjoyed some other music types as well.
Talking Heads, Devo, Human League, Berlin..............
Girls loved them, so I did too.

I like a song that I believe is probably called "Hungry Eyes" or "Time of My Life"... as for who sings it, I am not sure. It would be on the Dirty Dancing soundtrack though. My mom played that movie so much when I was younger -- I heard that song a lot and it took me years to realize they were saying "Hungry Eyes" and not "Hungry ICE!" Lol!!

Maybe you all can help me figure something out about an 80's song that's been played on my local radio station a couple times. It took me about a month to finally figure out the name of the song was "The Final Countdown" but for the life of me, I can't remember where I heard this song before.
It seems like it was associated to a movie or TV show but I can't remember for sure. Once you hear the melody it sticks in your brain and won't come out though. I love that song.

It took me about a month to finally figure out the name of the song was "The Final Countdown" but for the life of me, I can't remember where I heard this song before.
It's by a band named "Europe", and was/is played at a lot of sporting events . . ..

As a metalhead, my poison is mainly of that variety but since I was a kid in the 80s, I have a soft spot for that era of music.
I've been on an 80s kick for the past few days, actually, and Duran Duran's "Girls on Film" is playing right now. I keep coming back to the Misfits(Danzig era) too. Another favourite is The Cult.

In the 80's I was all about the hair bands - Poisen, GnR, Motley Crue  the more make up they were, the hotter I was for their music...lol

I wrote this in the 'what am I listening to' thread. I like listening to the song called "Trademark" by Eric Johnson because it reminds me of my family back home in Spokane and the years of summers I lived and have gone back to visit and watch them grow and their lives change as well as the town and county itself.
That song usually plays over the airways -coincidently, every summer when I visit.
