I listen to klove all the time.It is Contemporary Christian music station. I also like Def Lepard, ATC, Ace of Base, Enya, Enigma and some other stuff...I haven't been to concerts in a very long time.
I'm not the exciting type of musician...lol

I am a huge Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd fan but I love all kinds of music in between.
Haven't been to to concert since 2001 and that was a dream concert for me AC/DC.

Oh my god, I LOVE the Foo Fighters!! They are my absolute favorites-- and before them I also liked Nirvana. I think David Grohl is immensely talented. I also like the Killers, QOTSA, Gin Blossoms, REM, mostly alternative stuff. Back in the day I was crazy about the B-52s, DEVO, Ramones, Sex Pistols.

I'm a huge progressive rock fan. Genesis, Pink Floyd, Camel, Yes, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson but I also like jazz, classic rock, Mozart, some new age. The last concert I caught was Porcupine Tree back in July. It was incredible!

Right now I just happen to love the new Rob Thomas CD, particularly the track "All that I am"...check it out ladies...it's an awesome song as it speaks to the kind of man just about any woman would love to have a relationship with...

Guns & Roses is still my favorite band...
Too bad that they split up.. even though I heared have bootleg copies of some of the new songs and they aren't bad.. Chinese Democracy will hopefully be officially releases soon...

Im seeing Rob Thomas on the 5th. Will be my 2nd time seeing him.
My favorite band is matchbox twenty. Ive seen them 8 times in concert.

last concert last thursday ..flowing tears and epica ..wohooooooooooooooooooo was so great ... have tons of pics and am really proud of the ones i have taken ...

Beth Hart, Beth Orton, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Janis Ian, Styx, Karla Bonoff, Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow  , Bob Seger, Eagles, Antigone Rising, The Donnas, Patty Smyth, Jackson Browne and P!NK

Best Band of All Time: Beatles, no contest.
Most influential Rock Artist of All Time: Tie, Elvis and Bob Dylan.
Now, if you're talking specific genres there are tons of great artists. But most took their inspiration (even if secondhand) from the people above.

I confined my answer to the rock era since I thought that was the thrust of this thread, but Iagree, great songwriting know's no bounds or generation.
If we're talking straight musicality, I think the most innovative musician in the 20th century was Duke Ellington. Love his stuff.

my favorite music is oldies but goodies when i am driving alone i put that station on and sing my little heart out. i used to dance a lot. my mom sang and danced for the jimmy dorcey band. back in the 40s. both my mom and dad were a very cute coupple. that is all.
