i like that anita can handle any thing life has tossed her way so far  . i like that she can be tough yet under it all she has a big heart ( stands up for friends ) that she never asks anyone to do anything she would not do . i like all her growing list of guys  . it is vampire s and shapeshifters and action and romance all blended together in ways that work .  have read all the books so far and as long as they keep them coming i will be reading future ones as well

Yes, Anita rules. I am reading the last couple of books as a refresher for next month. On June 27, the new Anita Blake novel will be coming out. The thing that I like about anita the most is how conflicted she is. She is totaly practical in violent situations but then she is so vulnerable. All I can say is that Anita can kick my but any time. I would like for L.K. Hamilton to bring Anita's family into the picture more. It would make for some great drama.

I'm sorry hope67, but I have to dissagre with you. Turning it into a tv show would distroy the integrety of the novels. Also TV studios would be forced to take out a lot of violence before airing. I love these books so I do not want to see them butchered for tv ratings.

Maybe. Then at least they could do justic to their supernatural powers with top quality special effects. But still they would have to buttcher the books anyways, if not the plots then the storylines and I cannot stand that.

Thats a very good question. I think that they will. it would be good to get edward involved again. We havent heared from him in a while. Plus it would be cool to bring Olaf back in. Could make for some good reading.

Ya. We do. It would be really great if we could find out more about edwards history. How did he get into the hitman business? Does he have any living family? Whats his real name? Maybe we'll find out one day.

i also want to know what happened to the 2 pregant ladies . one was the widdow of the vamp that managed guilty pleasures . the other was a shape shifter . were the babys healthy , girl -or- boy - name - ect - after all the widow was thinking anita and jean claude would be like an aunt and uncle to her kid . we need another edward based book . anita could be in the wedding party or something , like she was for her co-worker larry .

What if we learned more about Nethanials life. We know a little bit about his dad and brother, but what about his mother. She has never been mentioned. Also what if they did a flash back sene to Anita. They could show how she got started. How bert found her, how she was like before she had to become so hard.
As for the pregnant ladies, The wereanimal was such a minor character that I don't really care about her. The other one betrayed anita and gave a friend to the vamps. Anita hates her enough that it could make an interesting incounter.
Also, don't forget that Gretchen in now back in the game. could be interesting.

Yea, that was part of the preview on the website. It was also part of the excerts that were in the back of the Micah book. There is no way that She can have a kid. her life is just way to rough to have a kid. I think that neathanuel would love to. I'm sure richard would love to as well. I think that it is time that we heared from the Mother of darkness vampire that we heard about in cerealian sins. A war between her and bell morte would be a great story.
