why is women always want guys who are 6ft or taller! Just because a guy is tall it does'nt mean that he is any more of a man than a smaller guy - not that I have anything against guys being tall - I guess its a matter of gender. I'm 5ft 5ins tall and had to prove myself all my life that I'm just as much a man as someone is 6ft or thereabouts - I've had to prove myself in the Army passing the toughest test - ie P company - got a black belt in the martial arts - but still get overlooked by women - so what do smaller guys have to do?

Further to my thread - again I've noticed on the ladies choice of height for a partner the shortest guy has to be no shorter than 5ft 6ins - this was even the choice of a 4ft 10ins Lady - again I have to ask WHY?  - just to note I mentioned all physical stuff in my earlier thread - I do have a Ph D in Physcial Education and a Bachelor's degree in History - so I'm not all brawn.

Thing is, everyone has something about them that's a problem for most people. That may sound pessimistic, but i you think about it, its true. I'm opinionated. It's just a shame for you because height is so obvious. Don't let it get you down though. a lot of women do like short men, it just sounds like you haven't found too many of them yet. At 5'2" I have no problem with guys who are 5'5"- actually the guys I've dated have ranged from 6'1" to, yes, 5'5". Hang in there, I'm sure you'll find a girl who likes short guys, or one who doesn't care. Just don't feel like you need to prove yourself.

The brits aint talkin coz its a short man speaking.. he's got to speak up.. no one can hear him! *** joke.
I am about six feet flat am currently working on my Masters in Aerospace Engineering and i dont engage in violent sports like karate or judo.
But i still also have to work hard to get the women to notice me and the ones who do are not worth it anyway. Yea i would rather be dumb and tall than smart and short but i dont think height has anything to do appeal to women, when they say they want a man whos six and over, its just a preference and not a mandatory requirement. All of us would love spouses with all the money in the world, but we still get married, dont we?

One possibility could be that women write the dream of what they want in looks. Its a bit like buying a lottery ticket. You buy the dream of winning it rather actually looking at it as a serious means of winning money. The Internet is a place of dreams and answers. That is an attractive concept that has many wanting to add their dreams to all the others stored here.
However there was a T.V. program shown recently that showed three men short tall and overweight who thought they would never attract women. By the end of the program they were all getting comfortable kisses from women they met.

I'm 6'2 and have out with some quite small women (5' 3!) Trouble is- conversation in a crowded pub seems to go on at about elbow level for me- Always have trouble keeping up without bending over! Being tall doesn't necessarily work for me (apart from being 'useful', ie able to reach top shelf etc- which can be a bit double edged) But I do agree, girls do seem to draw up a physical wishlist first...

awwww come on guys, lets be fair about this please! like u men dont ask alot from us women....slim, attractive, blonde, fit...i mean, wot more do u want from us?? if all we ask 4 is a tall guy then thats not 2 much 2 ask 4 and lets be fair 2 us ladies cause if uve got a nice personality then that surely out weighs ur height so chill out......but remember theres gotta be sum kind of attraction there 2, and of course if uve got high expectations then take a look at urself 1st....and keep smiling boys...

well mate take it from me I am 5.6 and have been with tall ladies 5.11 and petite girls 4.5 it is where to go and how to dress flirt smile be happy they get attracted to me then I started chatting them up the rest is between 2 -7 years relationships, and I used to go out with bi girls and have 2 at the same time, the secret is keep contact and be ready when you needed, remember it is after the first time together that counts, I had 2 ex gfs who left their 6 footers for me cause they were not good at bedroom sports,
other things you have to think about are many famous lovers and leaders were 5.5, read the history of Casanova, Romeo , valentino, m Jackson, d Hoffman, alpacino, napoleon, and many others.
I do not care about shallow woman whose interests is physical attraction I go for mind, personality and sensuality women, not trophy collecting women they are not educated and they meet their match. No offence too many intellectual women. Many women are not happy about their heights so they seek self improvement at least to their next generations

Thats a real shame!
I remember going out with a very sexy guy who was 5ft5 back in my late teens...I wouldnt think twice about it if I met someone and it felt right..
People are too sure of what they want some times...that closes the door on what they could have..instead of some romantic ideal that may not exist..gotta dive in and swim new waters..try something else..might get a surprise!
