Just curious if there is an opinion about who should be our next American president from someone living somewhere other than the USA. You see our news has sort of a slant to it. Have you heard ? I'm just curious if whats being seen abroad, do you like what you see; or, if you didn't, would you say anything about it, or just be polite and stay out of it ?
I know that you got rid of Tony Blair in no small measure due to his buddy boy attitude towards Bush. But I wonder if there's a gal or guy that you prefer to have ties with.
We don't hear much about our what other countries think. All we know is that the US has about the same popularity rating as dirty socks.

Personally, I don't know enough about any of the prospective candidates to be able to make a fair judgement. However, I would like the next President to maintain the very close ties that the UK and USA currently have. I feel closer to the USA than I do to the rest of Europe..... Is that strange?

No not at all. Most Americans feel a certain affinity for England as well, I would say.
Thanks for you comment.
