Several years ago, I travelled to the UK to do some research for a book. Although MD had a different format back then (no forums), I had become penfriends with a number of folks in the UK. Prior to my departure, all had agreed to meet me in England, not one came. It was very disappointing.
In contrast, there are a group of us in NYC who have brunch, talk on the phone. A couple of them even stop by to say hello when I'm working my second job at a bookstore. Furthermore, I met my gentleman friend on MD, we talk all the time and have met several times, all despite a 800 mile distance and 1 hour time change.

Blackburn, Bradford, Wigan and Wakefield... that's not the UK, that's an independent Republic... we only need 13 counties and we can start a Northern United States.
Let's have some elocution lessons. Say after me,
"T' rain on t' hill falls mainly on t' mill..."
"In 'Alifax, 'Uddersfield an' 'Ull, 'urricanes 'ardly ever 'appen..."

Yeah if you come on here with a name like "fun seeking female" to a thread of people like us, you're asking for trouble
