Hello,
Any English, Scottish, or Irish men who don't mind dropping a line and say hello to an American woman? I'd love to get acquainted with some of you guys out there. Dating is obviously out - since I live in the "States", but corresponding friends would be nice.
I do plan on visiting Scotland this upcoming year -2 week vacation, but would love the opportunity to get to know you here too.
Any takers? Nope - I'm no cyber flirt - just would love to make friends where ever I can. Love to chat. I'm a great listener too. Try me on for size.
If your not afraid to post - this is greenitxn.

Howdy from Texas-USA,
Thanks for posting! It's nice to meet all of you! I hope everyone out there is doing well. Here where I live has been storming like cats and dogs - but no one is complaining since it hasnt rained in a very long time. They posted water restrictions just last week, so maybe they will left this ban and allow us to water our vegetable gardens!
Nice to meet you:

One of these days, I'm going to visit Hay on Wye for the book festival. Any town with fewer than 10,000 people and 50 bookstores is my kind of place. On my last trip across the pond, I made a pilgrimage to Blackwells! Bliss!
