Are there Outback Restaurants in Australia? Are there similar themed restaurants like the “Outback” that is Australian themed are considered an American themed restaurants?

I think I'm addicted to the chicken salad sandwich at Arbys. I've even called that 1-800 hotline just to tell them how fabulous it is, and I *never* do that kind of thing.
(btw, what am I missing here? I don't count restaurants like Applebees, Outback and the like as fast food.)

Dwain >>>>Are there Outback Restaurants in Australia? Are there similar themed restaurants like the “Outback” that is Australian themed are considered an American themed restaurants?
g'morning Dwain, funny but the truth is, we don't have Outback restaurant in Australia that I know of, I had been almost all over in this country but I have not seen Outback restaurant, which is a big logo there in the USA.

my apology razzired, if I seem to stir up the lines: I mentioned Applebees and Outback, as when I visited your country, I have not been in one of your fast food restaurants that I like there, but the above mentioned restaurants, I consider fast food as the service is fast......

Hope, please tell me what Applebees you were in that you got fast service! I swear, they have to kill the cow when you order a hamburger at the one in my town!
(I've never been to Australia and it's on my "must do" list!)

I agree with you razzi....applebees is sl o w food as opposed to fast. LOL If it doesn't have a drive thru I don't really count it as fast food.

Well, you could always visit Phoenix...we're definitely a food town. Mentally walking the perimeter of restaurants around me leads me to Sonic, IHOP, Long John Silver's, Burger Mania, KFC, and the local diner (Alexi's). Not far beyond that perimeter would be Chino Bandido (sort of fusion Tex Mex, Chinese and Jamaican ), Transylvania (Rumanian) and Bill Johnson's (barbecue)...Applebees, TGIF, Native New Yorker and Papa John's...and the list just never seems to end...but I have to agree about Applebees, fast they are not.

Being as how I'm out to sea right now....I should not have opened this thread..damn I'm hungry but here goes....
Captain D's-GREAT, GREAT Seafood.
Burger joints are all the same-you get bad ones and great ones everywhere. However, for breakfast, Hardees KICKS ASS!!!!!!!! OMG their fresh biscuits, the tator tots they innocently pass off as hashbrowns and their gravy...my god I could lay down and lick myself....I might do that anyway...
