 I didn't havemuch as I certainly wasn't expecting to get one.  I made a box cake. Something I could have actually mixed with a fork

A: There's a lot of theatre in NY. We can check it out ahead of time or take our chances for late tickets. You can stay at my house. I'm a stone's throw from the city and then, my family will know you're not my imaginary friend.
Q: If we do this, will I have to put one of those sproingy wrist things on you so I don't lose you in the city?

A: Um, no...it's not me that's nuts. But please don't judge me by my family.  The one thing I really want to do, is first, enjoy your company. I'll email you some of the sights, and things to do. Your choice, since you're the guest.
Yes, I DO want to spend at least a night away from home, and hey, gay marriage is legal in Massachusetts. I also have a KitchenAid mixer if you start getting homesick. And lastly, we have to have our picture taken together to post online.
