I'd gather all my friends, loved ones and family together for one big party on the beach back home in California... swim in the Pacific Ocean... I'd skydive over the Santa Cruz mountains.... take a walk through the redwoods and pick my favorite flowers.... I'd make love to my man until all my energy was gone.... (oh, wait, I'd only have 24 hours  )

What would you save if you had to evacuate your house due to a fire? Besides the obvious (cats and small packet of critical papers), my mother's Newfoundland cookbook. As the tide of time pulls me further from my roots, I am constantly brought back to my place in the universe by touching something she touched.
