I love this website. I learn new words AND how to pronounce them. Take the example below. I never would have thought to listen to how it was pronounced until I saw the word "food" as a choice for an answer. Hmmmm.....I clicky the little speaker icon and what the heck?! How in the world could that word be pronounced the same as vittles?!
The word victuals means:
glory
food
conformity
trite remark

Thanks for the reminder Pali, I knew about this site and used to play regularly but got sidetracked..as usual.
I got in about 5000 grains at various times today (but I remembered a lot of the words from when I used to play...)
Aestivate...sleep all summer (what we do here in Phoenix)
