you're a Romance High!

Romance
You're a sucker for romance! A guy who will pamper you with gifts and affection and express his deepest feelings for you through his actions is right up your alley. You can't stand guys who lack passion. In order for you to be truly happy in a relationship, your man has to woo you and dote upon you. According to your romantic standards, when the courting period ends, everything else does, too. Your high romantic expectations definitely eliminate a large number of men from the singles pool, but if it's really that important to you, by all means keep on searching!

Maturity
There's no denying that men are like fine wine — they definitely get better with age. It's not hard to understand why, when you consider all the benefits of getting older, which is why you like your guys a bit older and more mature. Suave and sophisticated, a mature-yet-fun man would be more likely to settle down into a real relationship and make a lasting commitment. On the other hand, your answers show that you don't go for stiffs who can't crack a joke. It sounds like you go for guys with experience and a sense of humor that's dry as a fine Chablis, but with a hint of spice.

Lifestyle
Love doesn't come cheap, but it doesn't have to be all that expensive, either. It sounds like you're not very concerned about your ideal man's financial situation. Based on your answers, it seems like money isn't a real romantic concern for you. On the airplane of love, you're just as happy traveling coach as first class. Being detached from materialist concerns is a healthy, realistic attitude and should help make you happy. It means that when Mr. Right crosses your path, you'll be sure to recognize him and not worry about the size of his wallet.

Looks
You seem to know instinctively that love is blind, so why rule out any potential suitors? Sure, you probably prefer a looker (who doesn't?!), but you don't have strict standards by which you measure a potential date's physical appearance. Nicolas Cage? Ben Stiller? Just your style. Not only does this tendency reflect your innate good nature, but it also indicates that you'll be more apt to find your ideal man, since you're not someone who shuts the door on anyone who couldn't make a magazine cover. Of course, just because you're willing to look past the surface doesn't mean that your guy will be anything less than stunning. Whoever he is and whatever he looks like, you'll find him because your mind and heart are open.

Diana, you're a Romance Middle High!

Romance
Although you're a sucker for romance, you'll probably cut a guy some slack even if he doesn't constantly pamper you with gifts and affection. You crave passion in your relationships, so you want a guy who can (and will) express his deepest feelings for you through his actions. Someone like Richard Gere or George Clooney, perhaps? But you know that men aren't very romantic, so you're willing to lower your standards in this area if need be. Chances are you're willing to stick around once the courting period ends, though it's still very important that your guy occasionally dote upon you. Your realistic-yet-hopeful outlook will guarantee you a good catch!

Maturity
Love might be a serious game, but it should still be fun. Too much sophistication can kill the romance. But we didn't have to tell you that. It sounds like you always go for the kind of guy who knows how to cut loose and just be himself. Practicality and maturity are respectable qualities, sure, and no man should be completely without them, but they've never been high on your list of important ingredients for an exciting night out. Based on your answers, we think your perfect guy — someone like Jerry Seinfeld or Cuba Gooding Jr., perhaps? — should know how to have a great time without acting too childish or outrageous. Whether he adds a little bit of danger to your life or just has a great sense of humor, your ideal man would still be young enough at heart to let the kid in him emerge.

Millie, you're a Romance Middle Low!

Romance
You don't need a doting guy in order to feel satisfied. In fact, although you might prefer a guy who'll occasionally pamper you with gifts or affection, you don't need your ideal man to be a true romantic. (Two famous men who might fit your romance profile are Mark Wahlberg and Jack Nicholson.) Heck, you might even find sappy or romantic acts cheesy rather than desirable. Or perhaps you look at men with a realistic eye and recognize that the passionate, expressive qualities many women crave are rarely found outside the movies. Whether you're romantic or not, your open-minded, practical outlook will significantly increase your chances of meeting Mr. Right!

Looks
No doubt about it — love is blind. You seem to realize that ruling out potential suitors because they're not drop-dead gorgeous could jeopardize a perfect love match. Good for you! Your good nature and open mind let you look past the surface and see the true person inside before you judge the chemistry between the two of you. Sure, you notice a good-looking guy when you see one (who doesn't?!), and you probably think good looks are a nice bonus. But physical appearance isn't the number one item on your list of important things to look for in a man. Jay Leno? Kramer from "Seinfeld"? You'd date 'em in a second. Not only does this characteristic reflect your sweet nature and genuine desire to find true love, it also means that you'll be more apt to find your ideal guy than someone who shuts the door on every guy who doesn't look like he stepped off a magazine cover.

Lifestyle
For you, love isn't about living a first-class lifestyle or things with expensive price tags. Your ideal guy's financial situation has no bearing on what you think of him. Based on your answers, love and money are two separate issues, and never the twain shall meet. In fact, it seems like you care so little about money that you're willing to let him get away with being a bit cheap with you! (Two TV guys who live up — er, down — to your financial expectations are George Costanza from "Seinfeld" and Joey from "Friends.") On the one hand, you've adopted a very healthy, realistic attitude by detaching yourself from materialistic concerns. But on the other hand, be sure not to sell yourself short with Mr. Right. Nice gifts can sometimes reflect someone's commitment and devotion. Finding a balance between these two extremes will help make you happy and lead to a high-quality relationship.

Lifestyle
Some people say love is a journey of the heart. So if you're traveling anyway, why take coach when you can go first class? It sounds like you have some very clear financial expectations for your ideal relationship. Money is an important aspect of romance for you, probably because of the leisure and opportunities it offers. (One guy with a bank account that might live up to your expectations is David Hyde Pierce's character, Niles, on "Frasier.") There's no doubt that a luxurious lifestyle is tons of fun, but we hope it doesn't become the most important aspect of your relationship. We all dream about a fairy-tale love affair (complete with a castle), but it's important to stay within the limits of reality. Based on your answers, you should recognize and respect your desires, but if you meet Mr. Right, don't let anything get in the way of true love, even an itty bitty bank balance.

less important more important

Looks
You may not judge a book entirely by its cover, but you definitely like the cute ones. (Who doesn't?!) You might consider someone who's a little less than gorgeous, but you generally tend to seek out very handsome men who can really turn heads. Matt Damon? Noah Wyle? Right up your alley. But if need be, you're willing to place personality and chemistry before a pretty face and a hot body. Nevertheless, your answers reveal that you take pride in your man's appearance and get a thrill out of watching others gawk at him. You're impressed by looks, and you definitely set your standards high when it comes to physical appearance. Still, you also realize that beauty may be only skin deep and that an average-looking guy with tons of charm might be your perfect match in every other way!

I personally think that some of those questions were loaded. How am I gong to know what type of wedding I will have. It depends on what he wants, and what we can afford at the time. I want a small family wedding/reception. He may have a larger family...we may afford a large wedding or we may be broke and get hitched in private and have a family style reception at home..who knows. There were a few like that..but that is just one. Reality is I won't be making all the decisions....erg.

There's no denying that men are like fine wine — they definitely get better with age. It's not hard to understand why, when you consider all the benefits of getting older, which is why you like your guys a bit older and more mature. Suave and sophisticated, a mature-yet-fun man — like Regis Philbin or Kelsey Grammer's "Frasier" character — would be more likely to settle down into a real relationship and make a lasting commitment. On the other hand, your answers show that you don't go for stiffs who can't crack a joke. What's the point if there's no spontaneity, right? It sounds like you go for guys with experience and a sense of humor that's dry as a fine Chablis, but with a hint of spice.

Actually what I want in a man is simple....a soul that shines outwardly with who and what comprises their existence, a heart that is confident enough to allow all the feelings for me to be shown, two arms that long to come back to me each evening and hold me... willingness to work with me to make our lives the story we hope to live out...and respect and honesty(with these ingredients, it is a given that there will be more that follows)
