I would have to say Lake Tahoe, CA... although I love Washington the rain get's just plain tedious. Tahoe has many benefits, the elevation alone is very healthy. The skiing and hiking possibilies are endless. The people are very down to earth and friendly.

Either Pusan, South Korea or Seattle, Washington. I've been to both places and loved them both. Best two places I've ever visited.

Phoenix...
Oct/Nov: Second crop of tomatoes is ripe, 80 degrees and sunny during the day, 60 at night. Cool enough to have Thanksgiving dinner dessert and coffee by the fireside.
December: Decorate the saguaro, faux snow's the best kind!
Jan/Feb: Still picking citrus off the trees; heavy sweats for early morning walks. We MIGHT hit freezing at night for one or two nights in a year.
Mar/Apr: Heaven!!! Citrus trees are in blossom, wisteria too, just breathing is intoxicating...
May/Jun: Everybody into the pool! Then dry off shooting hoops...nights are still cool enough for the fire pit.
Jul/Aug/Sep: If you want to walk, do it at 3 am, unless it's to get a shady parking spot. Carry gloves so you can open the car door. Wonder how anyone lived here before air conditioning.

As long as I can still travel as much as I do, it matters a lot less where I actually live...

I have to agree with danger. The great lakes states have it all for me as well.I love it here in the country along a quiet river and I'm only a 4 1/2 hour drive from my fishin hole. The Michigan-Wisconsin border runs right through the middle of the lake.

I would have to say, the South Pacific, Western Samoa. After haveing the chance to live there for 2 years, I would like to go back there after I completely retire. Its a relaxed pace of life, no one in a hurry and the weather is great all year around.

I would move to a secluded tropical island with indoor facilities with jet ski or like 5 different brands and a small air craft for getting necessities as needed an of course to bring people back to my pad for a party LOL. But I'd have to blind fold each and every one of them so they can wonder where the heck my place was so I can live that quite life too every now and then.

I've always wanted to live on the East coast... basically anywhere on the East coast. It will never happen because all of my family and friends are in Missouri and Illinois and it's important to me to stay close to them but I do like to vacation on the East coast every summer!

Does anyone know of a place that stays between about 60 and 100 year round? If I sell the place I have, I can go just about anywhere. Was thinking of moving to Texas, but then the hurricanes etc made it look about as safe as Florida. As far as anything overseas is concerned. Been there for a few years, and learned that before you go for an extended period, check out their grocery stores. Had to live on cheese and cucumber sandwiches for 6 month once because there just wasn't anything else available that I could even stand the thought of eating.
Forget the mall, ME LOVE AMERICAN GROCERY STORES.
