Hi Ceemored! Oh yes, i know what you mean about people going POOF, especially on weekends, i think maybe they haven't figured out yet, all 7 days are the same, but they're so happy to get away from work they want to celebrate? To me though everyday is a celebration, mmmmm, except a few, guess i've been lucky.
Seet Red! Yes, that would hurt about your daughter moving, oh yes oh yes, but here's something to think about, Think of how happy you will be when that day which is just around the corner, and she tells you she is coming to visit you!! All that love and happiness, it's going to happen.
About Classy blonde, that is so sweet, hearing she got a hotel, and thinking she is sleeping and feeling good, money can't buy that.
And Will, i'm hoping you're okay right now....Earl

Hi Earl, I'm as strong as a bull LOL. I'm doing just ok. thanks for the concern bro. just that it usually plays merry hell with my weekend schedule as i get to think of nothing but of the huge volume of traffic on the road when I ride to the sunburbs for a philanthropic gesture. I feel wonderful when I do what I do.
Yeah you're right Earl. I'm thinking how I never knew this thread was gonna go this far. I'm more than happy cuz we're keeping it running big time. it gets us to bring in or share our thoughts and emmotions(either positively or negatively), it offers us the chance to express our trust and love for each other and here we are, our families start coming in. cool stuff I guess.
ok speaking of family, I'm thinking what Red's daughter's up to now. she's a big woman. I think she knows what she's doing, well maybe she's doing it for the better, who knows. Gals of her age are sometimes way too far to be docile. so Red, all you gotta do is play your role as a mom like support her with some motherly advice but please do not try to play hard balls with her or simply don't be hard on her cuz if you do, I'm afraid things might go the wrong way.....just my opinion.
hinking Will should have been here for dinner last night.......i cooked fresh green beans, corn on the cob, tomatoes, cream potatoes, cornbread, herb baked chicken and ice tea....
wow nah! I wish I could've made it for dinner but i just couldn't. fresh green beans, cream potatoes etc, hmmm yummy! Oh gosh, I kinda missed the good stuff.
Nah, words can't express my gratitude for the invite, though I couldn't make it. you're a sweetie

Hi Will!! I read every ounce of everything you just wrote, and yes, me too, i feel the same advice to Red is on target, and she knows this too. Even though she is going through pain and that emotional pain, she is letting her daughter venture for what she thinks is right.
I know that's hard on Red, and but i want Red to know her daughter will also cling to her for life, and vist in probably only 2 months and no later, and Red will be happy and her daughter will be saying MOM!!! i miss you, it's so good to be home!! Yea, i got a tad of experience in this world.
Speaking of family Will, this is family here brother Will!!! You need to help me build a patio deck and two more large bedrooms in our family house you built for us in this topic, let's see, we seem to have 20 sisters and 20 brothers, hahahaha!! Laughter of happiness!!!!!!!! I'm just stubborn enough to make this topic hit the 1000 post mark too!!! ...Let's build a swimming pool out back for these girls around here, they would look cute in their bathing suits....Glad to see you came home Will!!! It's just me Will, sorry bought my two ashtrays and cigarettes i have in the front den and back room i use...Just wanting to make the family house ya built for us liveable sort of like my house in Houston....Earl

LOL thinking how sometimes I get confused between the word "will" and my name "Will" especially when someone capitalises the "w" by mistake in the middle of a sentence....it makes my heart beat faster than normal

I'm thinking about how important it is the cherish your family and your children. I have my 15 y/o daughters best friend here with us right now because her and my daughter got into some trouble this last Tuesday morning and the best friend was sent to detox. She's 15 y/o also. Both of her parents (who are divorced) want NOTHING to do w/ her. My daughter, her other friend, and myself went to see her Wednesday night, and I couldn't believe the bruises she had up and down her arms, because they had to restrain her.
On Thursday they gave her Mom until 5:00 pm to go pick her up, as she was discharged, or they were calling Social Services and having her placed in my home, and having her Mom charged with abandonment. Her Mom did end up picking her up, but she ended up coming to my home about midnight anyways. Her Mom doesn't want her, neither does her Dad. I can love this girl too. They think she's a "bad kid". God doesn't make junk!! It's how the children are raised and the friends they let them hang with. She needs guidence. Her AND my daughter are BOTH grounded for the underage drinking they got Tuesday morning, and I think Carah's friend is the happiest she's been in A LONG TIME.
Her Mom has called me a couple times and harrassed me about Chelsie. She even said she was getting a lawyer. I'm thinking to myself.....why get a lawyer, I don't have permanent placement of this child, if she REALLY wanted her home, all she'd have to do is call the police, (which I talked to yesterday and they even told me neither parent wanted her) and get her child home.
So, Yeah, I'm thinking........WTF is up with "some" of these parents nowadays.....
Thanks for letting me rant and rave......
Oh and YES, I will fight to keep Chelsie here if need be, because BOTH of the parents beat her up if she does something wrong, like being late for curfew or something simple. I mean only 15 mins late for curfew.

I'm thinking that as a normally and genuinely upbeat person, I'm feeling very negative. Negative about men, relationships, parenthood, fair-weather friends, my car. . .just life in general.
I'm also thinking I don't much like how I'm feeling and need to do something about it. Now if I could only figure out what that might be.

Different things for different people, even the same people at different times...just pulling out of a funk too. Sometimes you just need to take a timeout and let it pass. Hope it passes soon...

And Ponie, just saw your post...yes, do whatever you can. I've taken in a few like that, and NEVER regretted it...you're right, God doesn't make junk, and I've seen a few throwaways like Chelsie become a lot more valuable people than their parents could ever dream of being! You rock!!!
