I had a neighbor lady that made sugar christmas cookies with homemade frosting she always brought a ton of to 4H meetings. It was her own recipe and sugar cookies are not all the same.I had my wife get her recipe but for some unknown reason they just werent the same. Now that lady has gone on ahead,my wife is an ex and I'll never have that favorite again. Now its homemade oatmeal cookies for me.

Snicker doodles...they not only taste great, they are fun to make. My great grandma used to spend hours baking w/me, together we made these cookies called "oatmeal coconut crispies". They were so good, sadly I have misplaced the recipe.
