Asparagus, corn on the cob, broccoli (with garlic butter), I might throw in a toasted provolone sandwich.

grilling asparagus: Use only fresh aspargus and wash well before grilling. It does not take long and usually about 4 minutes on each side will be enough. Then add a little butter and yum-yum.
Another method is to wrap it in foil and add butter and a little water to the foil package and then roast until tender. Also good but takes a little longer to prepare.
Give it a try user you might like it.
I'm still ready for some fresh okra.

I am not sure what we are having tonight.
What I would love to have though....
Fresh just off the plant, tomatoes ( beefsteak are my favorites) I always peel them too and slice.
Fresh green beans, with red pontiac potatoes, and ham or bacon in them.
