I posted a recipe that someone had sent to me and then it was pointed out to me it came from a recipe book...Now I am sure most of the recipes on here are from someone or some book...and if I failed to mention in my post of Nasi Goring I am sorry.....but as I said it was sent to me and I have cooked it many times for large parties...and never bothered to ask or check where it was from before posting.....

You know, there are so many obsequious little people to thank! First off though, I want to thank the esteemed idiots of the Academy, who looked deep within their lint-encrusted navels before giving me this fantastic award! Also, I want to thank my guru, for being such a powerful force in my loins. And to the People Under the Stairs, who taught me to take life by the fifth of bourbon. And finally, to all the personal assistants I fired - I couldn't have done it without you!

OMGosh! I can't remember where half of my recipes come from. I've collected from friends and family and who knows where those recipes originated? I try to credit where I can, but...

Makes me wonder about the Tollhouse cookie recipe.
if a recipe is given out, it can be used by anyone. As far as for profit, I don't know.
