Are we always looking for a SO? I don't think so. Yeeeesssss, I need someone to baby, cook and clean for...hmmm let me think about that.

that reminds me of a time when my ex-wife and i were ** ** ** and during the throws of ...y'know... she used a "pet name" - i had to tell her later, ummm "don't do that again!" (in a very playful funny way)...there's something wrong about using those cute playful affectionate pet names during... ... ...
ok, that's a good start for another thread topic but i'm too lazy to start it.
Color me stupid.
sorry, i'm all out of that color - seems i've used that on myself way too much! So....can i use any other color in the box?

of the 3 relationships i have had since divorce, 2 have gotten married and the last one is in the planning stage. so, looks like i will be batting 1K very shortly! LOL ok gals, what is the obsession with marriage? do you assume that it is a garrantee? of course it is with me or i would'nt even consider it again. at the moment (being single) i boldy proclaim that there won't be a 3rd time.

There is nothing wrong with one nighters. After being divorced for over 3 years and seperated for almost 2 before that I can say that I had my share of one nighters...maybe so many that I am tired of it..
After a while you want to come home to someone who is going to be there through the thick and the thin. Is a one night stand going to be there when the sink gets a leak? I don't think so....
Most people get tired of being alone. It may take a while but it will happen. If a person wants to spend their time searching for the one and living without one night stands that's their choice.. any advice you offer is going to go in one ear and out the other because they have already made their decision based on what works for them and what they want out of life.

I seriously doubt, as even witnessed by some of the posts here, that women are ALWAYS looking for their next BF, SO or Husband.
I have had 3 relationships in the past 7 years since my divorce. I can tell you what I tell everyone, I would love to find any of the categories you have named herein, but it has to be the right relationship.. the final one.. the one that will last and weather the test of aged personalities, preferences and decisions.
I would love to spend the remainder of my time with someone that loves me as deeply as I do him. A partner in crime, so to speak. One that will fill my heart and soul and make me want to come home to him. Someone that will share all daily escapades, dance with me, hold me, kiss me tenderly and spoon the night away with me. But, and this is the grand part of my stage of life, if he does not feel like permanently moving in with me (either because of children, job, etc.) we would be committed enough with trust and love to be separate at times and together at more times.
My Gawd, someone that would enjoy to do crazy shit with me, like tandem sky-diving, hang-gliding, or sitting and reading to each other (have you ever had anyone read an intimately sensual novel to you.. dayyyuuuuummm) cooking together, frikkin' dancing our hearts out either in public or behind closed doors, laughin until our a$$e$ hurt (now that is some serious laughin)...and all the fantastic stuff that happens when the last closed door is closed and the candles are lit.
To say women are ALWAYS looking for the BF, SO, Husband would be the equivalent of sayin that men are ALWAYS looking for their next lay, their next score, their next ...

Do women ever just want to have "one nighters" I know there are lots of women who go for that since that appears to be really your main concern.
As for me, it took me years to acquire the maturity and common sense I have now so I don't see any good reason to engage in what I consider risky and foolish behavior at this point in life. With that said, since my goal is love and that cannot be found in "one nighters" you betcha every man goes through "the inspection".
