That's a good start. 
Even those of us who are used to caring for ourselves appreciate having a special meal cooked for us every once in a while too.

Tell him how good he was in bed (hopefully it'll be true)
Greet him with a kiss when he gets home from work.
Send him little texts during the day (not too many though)

Stroking an ego is all well and good, but best if what is said is the truth. I prefer to be honest in my praise and compliments.
I don't know about everyone else, but I usually know when false praise is directed my way, and it doesn't make me feel any better...if anything, it makes me feel confused and frustrated.
