Question: Is it a bad idea to have sex with a ex.. I have not seen my x for a year and the other day we saw eachother and we talked and spent the whole day togetther.. Then the next day we ended up in bed with one another....... Bad idea?

I would rather have my testicles dipped in boiling oil...this is a bad idea for an uncountable number of reasons; and I'm too tired to start laying them all out...but put it in simple perspective: what's the reason he's an EX in the first place? If it feels OK to do the horizontal bop w/him, you either a) should still be together; or b)your relationship was primarily about sex to begin with.

I have seen this "still fooling around with the ex" going on with several women I know. I'd be just fine with never seeing my ex again, so I just don't get it. With all the millions of guys in the world, why can't you get over your ex?

Oh sure, this is perfectly fine. Often people break up not because they hate each other but because of circumstances they may not be in control of. If the sex was great, you'll never forget it and most likely will miss it.

This is something I don't relate {email address removed} I broke up with someone,it was OVER in all respects.I haven't seen my ex since 1998 and have no desire to.She was a nice looking woman when we were together and the sex was good (when it happened),but I would NOT be willing to go through the trouble of talking to the bytch and even being in the same state with her for the sake of sex.
I would much rather hire a nice escort,street walker or lap dancer.Hell,make that beat off to a porn vid.Three dollar DVD rental would be alot less hassle than dealing with the ex again.

having sex with a particular ex is ok but not the other. say A and B are my ex's. A was incredibly great in bed but I broke up with her cos of say her personality. B was so-so in bed and we both had a lot in common but she broke my heart, I mean she made me wanna kill myself.
From the above, I'd definitely have sex again with A, I mean c'mon guys, its just sex..thats all. I'd rather do stuff with a hooker than bone B again, fear of going down that road again.

I think it is a bad idea. I did it for 3 years. It was not a "often" thing only about 5 or 6 times in three years but .............
It was way past time for me to stop thinking about her and start thinking about me. I killed all contact with her a few months back. ALL contact even on the phone.

For several reasons, first off, not knowing others she has been with, sure don't want to get in contact with a possible Venereal disease on her part, next thing would be, how could i be with her sexually, when that romantic love flame was not there. I say it's up to you; go for it if it's your thing. Personally, having sex with my ex wouldn't be a good thing on my part. Partly because I have a boyfriend right now (that'd be considered cheating, people). Plus, having sex with any ex would make things more awkward than they already are when tackling an ex in general.
I say it causes too many complications, whether you'd like to admit it or not. But, hey, whatever floats your boat.
