when I saw this, I thought the content was gonna be about vampires or something else lol. nobody is too old to get hickeys, though its kinda embarassing sometimes......hickey gotten during romance of any kind is more like a reflex kinda thing. on the other hand, I think somebody is too young to have it/them....except when it comes to young vampires or vampire bats lol

I'm not a huge fan of "hickeys". I don't think that ANY age is "appropriate" to sport a hickey. I don't feel that having a hickey makes you a "GREAT PERSON" by any stretch of the imagination. Some folks like them, but I, personally, find them completely distasteful (which is my right by the way). Showing the world that you are sexually active (or even CLOSE to being sexually active) just isn't neccesary IMNSHO.
To each their own though.

I'm 41, Jester, and unfortunately, I still get the occasional zit. It comes with the monthly cycle territory.
But hickeys? Tacky. Trashy.
Occasionally, they can happen accidentally, and those little marks can get covered up pretty easily. But those big freakish purple bruises some people seem to think advertises how sexy they are? Gross. Just disgusting.

I love 'em. I love 'em because they are trashy. I love flashing back to the moment it was being given to me. I especially love when it's in a location that only my lovah or I can see.

I don't like visible hickeys, I think they are trashy and this part is only my own humble opinion..I think if a guy/girl feels the need to leave a visible hickey on you then it's like he's "marking his territory" and is insecure. That being said I think hickeys that can't be seen by others are sexy..because only the two of you know and it's something you can remember the other person by when they aren't around, and remember your time together, and how special you are to them. Ok, now I've said too much..

Not since I was a junior in high school (trust me ... a long time). I don't think visible hickeys on anyone other than high schoolers is nice and I wouldn't want to be sporting any.. now, the ones only my lovah (as di put it) .. if the mood struck and it happened.. ce le vie. In high school they are sorta like a badge you can sport around to say to other gals.. "this is what so and so and I have together.. back off" .. a kinder, more pleasant way of "marking territory"!
But now, absolutely, positively no!!!!!!! (other than that small disclaimer about the hidden one)
