But hickeys? Tacky. Trashy. They are trashy and gross
why do people feel the need to throw deragatory terms around simply because they don't like something?
if you don't like something it doesn't make it gross! it just means you don't like it! the thing that is gross about this topic is the need to label things you don't agree with!
if someone doesn't like me,,,,am i gross?

i thought i explained myself pretty well,,,,,,,,i am happy with what i said,,,,if you don't like something or find it offensive,,,,,,,,the proper response would be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i don't like hickey's ,,not my thing......when you go beyond this and feel the need to give it an ugly name,,,,,,well,,,,,,,,,,i'm just don't feel the need,,,,,but to each his own

Ok, now let me explain myself pretty well. If I say something is trashy or gross, that's my opinion of it. If you don't think it's gross, that's your opinion. Both are facts to us. It's a fact to you that you don't think its gross, and it's a fact that I do think it's gross. So, the proper response from me is, I don't like hickeys, and I think they are gross and trashy, like something you'd see on Jerry Springer's show guests.
Did I make that clear enough that you can understand it?

yes thank you for clarifying this for me,,,,,,if i find something not to my taste,,,i am allowed to put an ugly sounding name to it,,,it's just my opinion,,, hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
it's my opinion that it is not up to me to say anything of a derogatory nature based solely on my "opinion" oh and all those people on jerry springer are people,,,,,with opinions of there own,,,,and i'm sure they wouldn't appreciate your off-handed refferal to them as trashy or whatever other ugly things you can come up with to say,,,,,,, merry x-mas to you and all your klan:)

A preconceived preference or idea. Again, nothing preconceived about the idea.
This really doesn't even fall into the same catagory as "If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all" and no one means it as a stab or slur toward anyone else.
It's like me saying I can't stand bleu cheese and I think it's gross...and I DO think it's gross. But that's not labeling someone who likes bleu cheese as being a weird person...again JMO

Have you ever done it? Why not? I called up there one time to make an appointment to try cordless bungee jumping.
I was calling from home.
They told me I could only make an appointmet for cordless bungee jumping from a cordless phone.
I thought that was rather rude, so I didn't call back. Some people!
Just "assuming" I was NOT on a cordless phone...that is just GROSS!
But I tried!!!!

Your never to old to get a hickey This might be true for some people...then again, some people never grow up.
I suppose it's good that some people like that sort of thing...it takes all kinds to make the world go around. I would think that most mature people would much rather feel a gentle kiss on the neck as opposed to having the blood sucked to the surface of the skin. Seems more sensual to me but then again maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy
