but out in the real world it happen all the time...

I don't understand humans at all...
but I don't think people who do these things are conscious of what they're doing...
mostly there just a bunch of Mental Midgets who enjoy the excitement of conflict...
I learned only recently some women like to fight just so they can make up...
(probably some guys too)
fortunately I haven't experienced any of these things,
so I don't have any Horror stories to tell...
but I've seen it happen to others...

Years ago,my ex and I were visiting some friends.They were a couple about our age.In their living room were several dings in the wall that they showed off like trophies,"This is where Jeff and I had a little disagreement and I threw a hot coffee pot at him..."
Go figure.

I'm young, in my 20's, and i have to say yes indeed (especially in the military) many girls play these games. Half of my friends are guys and they are really sweet ones...it always seems they get the psycho chicks though. Most women don't play these games but the younger or just more imature ones do. Half of it is probably just to see what the guy will put up with and with the girl to guy ratio in the military for some of them they actually get away with it and its sickening...only thing i have to say really is for #5...though some girls do play that card it shouldn't always be seen as a "test". Some girls do actually respect themselves (talking one night stand/having been dating long at all) or want to wait/just don't want to do it at that time. So not that i don't think anyone here wouldn't respect a girl if she said no i just thought id say that...

1) The 'blatantly flirting with another guy in front of you' test.
2) The 'getting mad at you for no reason to see how you react' test.
3) The 'yelling at you for checking out another girl to see how you
react' test.
4) The 'canceling a date for no reason' test.
5) The 'getting you really hot while making out but then saying no
to see if you really respect me' test.
1. if a girl did this...she's an idiot and deserves to see the guy walk away...if she is a young one...it would be possible that the guy whom she is testing is her ride home...and probably won't give her said ride home after this little test.
2. this would be similiar to response number 1 after a while if not right away. ick.
3. I shouldn't be catching you checking another girl out. yes, you do it...but if your head spins around and watches her walking away...you must not respect what is walking next to you.....i would not be happy.
4. he should remake plans...and be busy with someone else the next time this...suddenly busy chick wants to reschedule...you snooze you loose.
5. did you ever think that maybe she just changed her mind? got half way there...and just didn't feel right inside? i am sure girls do test guys in this pathetic way...but if i did it...it would be because I was not fully ready to go all the way, and i would feel really bad and suggest to cool things down for a bit. at that point discussing the future of the relationship would be attempted (at least by me).
i have no time for games, do not play them, do not tolerate them. am i in a minority for my age group??

what are they testing the men for?
My theory is that it is an exercise in ego validation. If the man passes the test and thereby "proves" his devotion to his woman, then he has effectively validated her judgment and choices and boosts her self-esteem. I have noticed that even the most arrogant and aggressive women in these forums have occasional issues with self-esteem. (I suppose that most of us do at one time or another.) Some women simply take this to an extreme and do foolish things to deal with it.
