ok I can't take it anymore. These newlyweds just moved in next door but man, the noise is unbearable. I'm on the verge of getting outta my apartment. I actually confronted them once but you know, language barrier 
They have sex on daily basis esp. at night and sometimes in the early hours of morning. I know they just got married, they're trying to explore each other...I get it but man, I'm single for crying out loud....if you know what I mean.
No kidding guys, I had to spend the first two nights( after they moved in) in a hotel thinking that it was just a one night thing. I've tried getting used to this quirk and foible to no avail. I just can't get some of the chinese words they use outta my freaking head. what's happened to the little something called " respect of other people's space". I personally feel really really uncomfortable having to listen to people humping all the time. I think I'm gonna have to use some help here.
should I ; call the police, sue them, sound proof my walls lol or should I just stick to my decision of getting the heck outta there( but I love that apartment sos so much) or what guys?
did any of you ever have such neighbors? how did you cope/deal with the situation?

knock on the wall and holler "keep it down"...
that would be the first thing I would do. If that didnt work then
I would knock on their door and tell them the walls were not sound proof and their bedtime noise was cutting into my sleep
I would call the police for disturbance as it would get annoying.
If that didnt work and it kept on... I would get a tape recording of a baby crying and play it to offset the noise they were making... keeping the speaker against the wall. Maybe not play it long but right after they cooled down and it became quiet to just let them know they were being loud.

Get someone to write a cryptic message in Japanese ...
As Japanese culture is all about honour and keeping face .. thats should shame them into keeping the volume down a bit

I happen to have the same problem. Every night my neighbors go at it. It's not so much the act that bothers me, but rather the squeaky bed. Oh and the "faster, harder" yelled at sometimes extreme volumes.
Seeing there are several neighbors around the complex, I have decided to leave a note and slide it under their door.
Something to the effect of : your bed needs oiling, and could you please convince you're husband to go just a little faster so I can get some rest!

I had a situation once when I lived in an apt....where every night there was thumping on my bedroom wall, which sounded like someone having sex.
I was really overstressed at the time with working full time and taking classes full time in the evening and my rest was so important since I got so little. The neighbors were from another country too and I didnt know if they even spoke english as I never heard them speak english, only some other language unknown to me.
One day I saw the guy outside and said... hey would you mind moving your bed away from the wall a bit, the bed is knocking on the wall and keeping me up...
he looked at me a minute and said...
We have our babys crib on that wall next to yours...
I said, oh... I thought it was your bed. Would you mind moving it so it doesnt hit the wall.
He said... the baby jumps and that must be what you heard.
I said, ok whatever and winked at him.
 he looked rather embarrassed and I never heard the thumping again.

I had that problem for a while, but they moved out pretty quickly, so I hever had to say anything. I would just turn the air conditioner on and that was enough to mask most of the noise. Come to think of it - that is when my porn addiction started too.

i agree with you bryan, it's their life, let em enjoy it, if you really can't take the noise wear ear plugs. not trying too be rude, but honestly if i was just married i wouldn't care who in the apartment heard, i would be getting lucky as much as i could.

Put your stereo speakers facing their place .... put the volume to 10 .... alternate CD's of Guns n Roses, Barry Manilow, and Dr. Seuss songs.

ACK, you can't report them to the POLICE, Will. It's CHINA. Don't you have a super or a little old busy-body neighbor-lady who will have a quiet discussion with them?
hehehe, Next time they "get busy" loudly, pre-record some of that traditional porn music and turn it on (with the speaker snugged up against the wall, insulated with pillows) 
Whoops, I see that LB has already thought of the speakers His music selection is even better.

Maybe this is what's really going on.........
A Chinese man arranged for a hooker to come to his room for the evening. Once in the room they undressed, climbed into bed, and went at it. When finished, the Chinese man jumped up, ran over to the window, took a deep breath, dove under the bed, climbed out the other side, jumped back into bed with the hooker and commenced a repeat performance.

tatiana, I've tried almost everything but nothing seems working..they don't come that close to English. About the tape recording of a baby crying and the stereo speaker comments, it'll be like adding insult to injury....its cool and funny though...like I said, they have sex every so often at 2, 3, 4 in the morning.
what about their right to do what they want in their own space???
Bryant, could you possibly put up with that kinda nuissance if you were the one..put yourself in my shoes, man? I'm not intruding into their privacy but come on, you can't call that their space...they're going overboard, I mean they're crossing boundaries.
Dude, just go next door and ask if you can join them.

A friend adviced me to record every bit of it and later play it to their hearing, if possible with a fourth party present...how embarrassing could that be? I'm trying that tonight though lol

I'm soundproofing my room, turning my apt into a night club lol( since Bryant said everyone is free to do whatever they want in their space) or maybe bringing a hooker back home tonight purposely to fake moaning all night long would be a better solution...just so they know how disturbing and uncomfortable that could get

If its really bad, screaming and loud thumping you could call the police you know and let them hear it over the phone. If its really bad and I know it can be, it could be considered disturbing the peace. People who live in apts, townhomes and other places that there are shared walls have to be considerate.
If its really bad, you could call the police. They can hear them too as you hold the phone up to the wall and can issue them a ticket.
