In another thread, a guy stated that he sometimes plays it cool sexually to make the woman want him. I think that method probably does work best, especially with women who are used to being aggressively pursued. A man who seems to just be trying to get to know you by talking about nonsexual things and who you're not trying to fight off when you're with him, probably does have a much better chance of getting what he wants (sex) in the long run. I'm not saying he shouldn't show interest and give nice long kisses before the date ends, but when the woman can walk away from the date feeling excited about seeing the guy again instead of being aggravated that she's run into yet another man who doesn't want to take no for an answer, that alone will make her want him more assuming there's physical attraction to begin with. Do you agree?

Not from my experience-
they were always pretty up front about it-first date. Some were just caring enough to not make it the whole attraction....

I do agree. I dont like to push hard I mean u have to make the women want it. I like to tease a women leave them think what if. I always find that works for me. But it also depends on the guy. My to bestfriends one male the other female what a week before leting there partents in to there pants. Personaly I like to what see what happens. I think a week is to short u need more time with that person to know how they are. You need to tease them make them want u so bad that when it does happen the passion is there.

Well since the woman has all the power when it comes to the sex stuff, YES, I somewhat agree.
It's best not to be over aggressive, and be in someones face all the time. It gives you a little space, and some time to think over the possibilities.

being "pushy" about sex will often drive a woman away thinking that all the guy wants is a bit of jiggy-jiggy. I am always open about sex, but never pushy.

The woman knows within seconds of meeting the man if she wants to get jiggy ...everything after that is just a game!
Of course if you give her too much time she will get to know you too well and that jiggy idea may fly outta the window...best just to go for it guys!!!

Speaking for myself ..... I don't act any certain way to make a woman want me, sexually or otherwise .... be it acting cool, the bad boy, whatever ..... I just try to be myself .... and if she likes and wants me for me, fine ..... if not, thats fine too .... but, to try to be something or someone you're not just so you can feel desired by someone and see if she'll come after you ..... get real ..... I'd rather be overlooked for being myself than get a piece of a$$ for being something I'm not.

With all due respect, one never knows. But my personal viewpoint is, I don't plan it, and the answer is most likely a no for safety's sake. Plus the hope of a more indepth caring.

LB, It's not about pretending to be someone else. It's about each person relaxing and getting to know each other without one person trying to pressure the other into premature intimacy. I guess it could just as easily be a woman wanting to have sex with a man before he is ready. (I've heard that happens now and then.)
If you're both ready for sex the minute you see each other, then great. You've both chosen that moment, but if one person spends the entire time trying to get the other person to do what they want, then how can either of them really enjoy themselves? The time spent together becomes a battle of wills. When a guy has shown by his behavior that he's going to let me decide when I want to have sex with him, I can relax and enjoy his company which in turn will make me feel more affectionate towards him. I will want him sooner.

Candy .... I understand what you're saying .... to pressure someone else, either for sex or anything else, will often draw resistance from the other .... to not add pressure and still convey the idea that there is interest is, I guess, the line of balance .... if the feeling is mutual, go for it .... however, some people are unwilling to let it go at that, don't want to accept that someone is not attracted to them that way, or simply don't have the respect for the other person to not push the issue.
